Yeah, just tell me Cera won't do a good job now. This movie is going to be so amazing.

I seem to be okay with the whole "revealing that one of the exes is a girl" thing, but they've really kinda spoiled Gideon a bit, as we've only seen him in shadows and blurry photographs, but meh. It's gonna be an awesome movie.

I know nothing about this universe and first learned that it existed when I saw the trailer before Prince of Persia. Please please please please please tell me the visual sound effects are actually part of the movie because that alone will make it absolutely epic in my book.

The similarities will end after Vol 3, where the story of the film will take it's own turn.

I am SO looking forward to this movie. It figures that the most original mainstream film this year is another comic book adaptation, but what a comicbook adaptation it shall be.

I like Mike Cera and I think he'll do a good joke on this. I had a minor case of Fridge Brilliance when I remembered Cera is actually from Ontario, so they're avoiding Fake Canuck in hiring him.

I finally got around to watching this trailer and I don't think I've been this excited for a movie in ages. They really seem to have nailed it. Looks freaking awesome.

The movie is coming out just a few weeks after the final volume... damn.

And... wait a sec, it's coming out three days before my wedding! 8-( I'm totally going to have to wait a few weeks to see it, that sucks.

Am I the only one completely unimpressed? Michael Cera is still just Michael Cera, the weak-chinned, anemic virgin boy with zero sex appearl, and it's tiresome to watch.

Blasphemy! Michael Cera is Adorkable all the way. Truth be told I never did get around to reading Scott Pilgrim because it sounds dumb. If the movie is any good I might read the comics.

Yeah, based on the trailer, Cera is the one thing that doesn't seem like it'll work. Scott was always more on the angry, defensive side than the good-natured dorky look.

Everyone who has seen this movie says that Cera is not... Cera-like at all, and that this is his best role ever. I believe in Edgar Wright, I believe in Michael Cera and I sure as hell beleive in this movie.

And why yes, part of the appeal is that I can just pretend for some little moments here and there that I am watching, in fact, No More Heroes The Movie.

That one wink from Cera at the beginning clinched it for me; he can definitely do this. Last lines were awesome. Also, if you pause it during one of the flashes of lots of scenes, you can see a Demon Hipster Chick and Pattel, meaning they kept that in!

It's a complete story, yeah. It adapts the first three volumes and then goes into its own territory for the latter half, because only three volumes of the comic existed when the script was written.
