FUCK YES. FUCK YES.
I'll start. Yoko Shimomura = Greatest female video game composer in the world.
Next.

Also, Xenosaga, Dot Hack, Earthbound, Super Smash Bros Brawl (which is sorta cheating). I have more, but these are off the top of my head.
Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityDang, most of my sparse music collection is video game music. I love how most of the tracks have no lyrics, but they don't need them because the melodies and harmonies tell the message all by themselves. I might elaborate on what certain tracks convey in later posts.
I'd have to agree there; she did an excellent job with the Kingdom Hearts games, as well as a couple of Mario games. That, and she did the King Dedede's Theme remix for Brawl, which is one of my favorite songs from that game.
As for my iTunes, the number of songs currently stands at... 382. All of them VG tracks. And trust me, more will come.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Hell, I've got four separate playlists of Final Fantasy Music.
- Final Fantasy I-IV (Music from games I-IV)
- Final Fantasy VII-XIII (Music from games VII-XIII)
- Final Fantasy Spin-offs/Sequels (Music from games like X-2, the Tactics series, Crystal Chronicles, Dissidia, Advent Children, Crisis Core, etc.)
- Final Fantasy Other (Music from the various Piano Collections, arranged albums, live performances, Black Mages, etc.)
Yeah. I loooooooooove Final Fantasy's music. XD
And all of that adds up to at least 500 songs. I've got 2000 overall. FUCK YEAH.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.I'm sooooo excited for XIII's OST to release at the end of the month. Judging by the gamerip I have, Masashi Hamauzu did a phenomenal job.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Dawn Of War's music is FUCKING AWESOME
@Electi: Most of it, though Uematsu's my favorite composer.
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remake@Blueeyedrat: NO ONE CAN MATCH MY VGM FANBOYISM!!!
Anyway, my Sonic songs are all in one soundtrack. Sonic Unleashed's OST is simply beautiful. The orchestrated tunes work so well, even without Jun Senoue working on them.
And in that case, Kinka, I'd recommend X's. It's my personal favorite OST that Uematsu actually worked on.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Aw yeah. Yoko Shimomura is awesome. Even moreso for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and retroactively, Street Fighter II.
Most of the music on my current computer contains Castlevania & Mega Man with some Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy & Pokemon to fill things out along with a couple of obscure soundtracks here and there.
Plus I can listen to the awesome music of X6 without ever going through the pain of playing it again.

I've got a buttload of Pokemon OS Ts, even if I don't listen to them very often. When I do, it's usually from HG/SS.
And Super Smash Brothers. MY GOD SUPER SMASH BROTHERS.
Marionation Gear may be from a game I've never heard of, but DAMN that song is awesome. I just love piano/electric guitar blends. And I love how it alternates between 6/8 and 4/4, and with other parts it's 5/8.

360 Gamertag: Electivirus. 3DS friend code: 5412-9983-8497. PSN ID: Electivirus. PM me if you add me on any.I honestly wish I had gotten a MP 3 Player with more memory. Mine only holds 4 GB. Which isn't nearly enough for me.
And yes, Smash Bros has quite the collection of kickass music. Especially loved the metal remix of Ridley's theme, but then I heart Ridley's theme in general.
Also have the soundtrack of this game called Dream Mix TV World Fighters. Asides from the Bloody Tears remix, I didn't expect much out of it. Boy was I wrong.
On an unrelated note, have any of you heard of a guy on Youtube named SupraDarky? He's assembling a list (in no particular order) of awesome VG music— he's been at it for over 2 years, and has added over 600 songs to his list.
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Obligatory Shadow Of The Colossus mention. I'm not sure what to say, aside from the fact that I like the epicness some of the songs portray and the emotions others capture.
Ah, yes So TC. I think that's one of the few times my brother's ever asked me to get him the music from a game. Truly masterful music it has.
Sadly, it's stuck on my laptop and it runs like crap right now.

And I'm a big fan of Kenji Yamamoto's contributions to the Metroid Prime series. I especially love the electronic feel he adds to most of the songs; it really makes them stand out.
And I love the fact that there's a chorus or Ominous Latin Chanting in most of the songs as well.
360 Gamertag: Electivirus. 3DS friend code: 5412-9983-8497. PSN ID: Electivirus. PM me if you add me on any.-snickers at mention of Shadow Of The Colossus- It's just... go here, and then look at the latest entry.
EDIT: Yes, only one song... for now.

"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."And Shadow of the MOTHERFUCKING Colossus. There's...really nothing else I can say about it.
Koh Ohtani = Win.
EDIT: And only one song? YOU BASTARD.

360 Gamertag: Electivirus. 3DS friend code: 5412-9983-8497. PSN ID: Electivirus. PM me if you add me on any.Yes, I could've felt the atmosphere in Prime 1. Kept me on the edge honestly.
Plus there's another Kenji Yamamoto out there that composes music for the DBZ games which I admit I am a fan of. Not to mention, there's quite a variety of musical styles in those games from rock to techno to jazz.
(If there's already a topic like this one, let me know -.)
Feel free to:
So... anyone want to start?
