A genial folk-rock composition that, while nice, isn't nearly up there with the best compositions of a band I feel 100% deserve their reputation as truly spectacular titans. David Gilmour guitar solos are never a bad thing, though. 7/10
Tastes better on the way back down.Fittingly, very atmospheric and futuristic-sounding piece of Electronic music, 4/5.
I've recently discovered this death metal band based in Almaty.
Spiral out, keep going.2/10. Death Metal just isn't for me, I don't get the appeal. Sorry.
10/10: What if DJ Shadow didn't fall off a cliff in quality after The Private Press? You'd get this. That bassline is incomprehensibly asskicking.
Another green world.8/10. I can get into oldschool blues music, and especially his unique style. 8/10.
7.4/10 Pretty good garage rock. Will I remember it? Probably not.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.After first hearing the minimalist instrumentation I've expected something a lot more experimental melody-wise. It's an enjoyable electro pop track, but I feel robbed for some reason, 4/5.
Spiral out, keep going.Eh. Avant-garde can be good at times, and I'm sure others would really like this. But I'm just not feeling it. 5/10.
34/100 - Drowsy, plodding, thud-heavy, repetitive etc etc. but ultimately just uninteresting. It's meant to be chilled out to but the second you start paying attention to it is the second the abysmally listless slow-mo stumble of verses and chorus delivered with the barest minimum of audible enthusiasm becomes painfully clear and you wonder why you bothered in the first place.
6/10. Trippy Indie pop. Decent but kind of unmemorable. The video was interesting, though.
5.5/10. It had some cool guitar work but ultimately it was kind of boring. The production doesn't sound that good and the song structure is too disjointed. I wanted to like this more but ultimately it does nothing for me.

A sorrowful grunge ballad that conveys the POV's heartbreak well, 4/5.
Annie Lennox - I Put a Spell on You
Spiral out, keep going.Never been a fan of the Eurythmics but she does have a strong voice. 7/10.
Since around 2014, EDM seems to be headed in a more chilled, sunny direction, as opposed to the mechanical nightclub throb associated with the dance music of old. This is a fairly standard example of said trend. The hook built from sliced-up pieces of the main vocal line is a really played out trick at this point. 5/10

Tastes better on the way back down.Hmm, I think your link doesn't have the full song, unless it really ends that abruptly… Anyway, I'm quite fond of this type of darkish instrumental hip-hop. The hypnotic drumline, slightly soaring guitars and quirky synths create a mood that feels like a mix of daily routine and mystery… It's relaxing and fascinating at the same time. I like it.
Scottish folk ambient black metal! Or something. It's 11 minutes long.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Considering my passionate affair with Scottish folk music, ambient and black metal separately, I should have liked the fusion of these genres more that I liked this track. The mix feels forced, it feels a bit too gimmicky, for all the blast beats and high tempo and guitar riffs and harsh vocals it lacks black metal's intensity, coming off as more of an unusually heavy guitar cover of a traditional Scottish folk songs, 3/5.
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Magneto
Spiral out, keep going.8/10. It's probably my least favorite on Skeleton Tree, but Magneto is still a fantastic representation of grief and death, the main themes of the song and the album. It's amazing how Nick Cave can take these beautiful organic strings and pianos and mix them with what are essentially industrial textures and somehow make something coherently heartbreaking out of them. The song unfortunately does stay past its welcome, but that's among my only issues with it.
The Mountain Goats - Alpha Sun Hat
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"A short and unmemorable folk song. Nothing bad about it though, but I'll probably forget it. 6/10.
Relies too much on similar means of expression; the beats, while giving the sense of intensity at first, become tiresome halfway in, 3/5.
Rough translation from Russian:
Rain
Built the walls of waters
It shut all the doors tight
Hiding the footprints
And I wanted to fill
My lungs with fresh air
But I was afraid to forget
I was afraid to fall asleep
Chorus:
There, the water pours
And the bright flashes
Of broken arrows light the skies up
I reached upwards
Grabbing a handful of lightning bolts
There, the water draws
Circles on the ground
You hear its footsteps
It's raining
The thunder cackles
As if for the first time
It chokes on its words
It tears the shutters off the windows
And I saw everything
I looked the sky in the eye
It's all simple, really
It's just a thunderstorm
Chorus.

Spiral out, keep going.Russian jazz. Not bad, but I doubt I'll return to it or remember it. 6.5/10.
7.5/10. Pretty good. The lyrics and rapping are pretty good although I would've preferred a different beat.
Kendrick Lamar - Keisha's Song
This kinda sounds like Lorde if you replaced the electronica with doom metal instrumentation. Weird. 8/10.
8/10. Pretty good song by RHCP. The chorus is especially great.
Steely Dan - Do It Again
7.5/10. Nice song. That women has a great voice and I really like the music.
Pink Floyd - Fat Old Sun
