Weird vocals back by a quiet instrumental, it's okay. 6/10.
Well put together trance track, 3/5.
"I Put a Spell on You":
The Screamin' Jay Hawkins version.
Review either. And bring ear protection for Hawkins' version.

Spiral out, keep going.4/10 for Screaming Jay. 8/10 for Nina Simone. Simone's version has a self-reassurance and confidence that Jay can't even lay a finger on no matter how hard he screams.
"I Will Follow Him"
The Little Peggy March version
Review either.

I listened to the Peggy March version. It gets a 6/10 from me. It's catchy but it feels like I'll forget about it pretty quickly.
Funkadelic-Cosmic Slop
As funky as the band's name is. Singer's voice is a bit annoying at times, but considering the subject matter of the lyrics, I think it's supposed to be a parody, 4/5.
Machinae Supremacy - Lord Krutor's Dominion (Jets'n'Guns OST)
Spiral out, keep going.6.5/10. A competent if rather forgettable heavy metal song.
Clean Bandit ft. Anne-Marie - "Rockabye"
I listened to the version without Sean Paul. It's a 7/10. While I still think the instrumental doesn't fit the lyrics, it's slightly better without Sean Paul there.

One of the all time classic hip-hop beats. I could listen to that electric piano twinkle away for the rest of time and not tire of it. Shame Guru's lyrics and flow aren't much better than "eh, he's capable enough" - and I know plenty of hip-hop heads would consider that a heretical statement, but meh. I've never been much for orthodoxy. 7/10
Black Flag - The Process of Weeding Out
Tastes better on the way back down.7/10. I'm not a Black Flag fan but this was pretty good. The guitar is pretty nice. I do think that the song went on for a little too long. Just my opinion.

Nice rendition of Bach's arguably most recognizable piece, 4/5.
Jesper Kyd - Vegas (Hitman Blood Money OST)
Spiral out, keep going.Pretty quiet and unmemorable. Nothing bad, but nothing to make it stick out as theme, either. 5/10.
6/10: Intense, yet somewhat unmemorable power-metal video game soundtrack stuff.
B.J. Thomas - I Don't Have A Mind Of My Own
Another green world.8/10. Genre isn't really my thing, but regardless, it's a nice and cheerful song that I definitely enjoyed listening to.
25/100 - It sounds like three different bands crashing into one another at differing intervals resulting in a painful pile-up of boy band saccharine verses, quasi metalcore/nu/emo/etc. choruses, and leftover hard rock jaunty rhythms all fighting for dominance. Everyone loses.
Far more melodic and slower than your usual Death Metal track (and a bit mellower than you would expect from a song about Azathoth), but keeps the high level of technique and chaoticness of the composition associated with the genre, 4/5.
Tobias Gustafsson - Campfire (Crusader Kings II OST)
Spiral out, keep going.Tobias Gustafsson is an actual metal musician who's performed with several noted death metal outfits, which just makes it confusing how much this sounds like a VGM composer who's barely listened to the genre being told "aight, our new game needs some methulz in the soundtrack, go whip something up will ya?" A generic chord riff repeats again and again, accompanied by a slowly building orchestral swell that honestly seems to have had a lot more care and attention put into it than the metal elements advertised as the star of the show. 6/10
Fryderyk Chopin - Piano Concerto No. 1 Mov. 2 "Romanze - Larghetto" (performed by Rafał Blechacz)
Tastes better on the way back down.Decent, but not what I listen to really. I just don't listen to orchestra that much outside of OST music. 7/10.
Infinite number of monkeys work on a single metal music instruments kit, not producing a coherent track. Mish-mash of styles and techniques that don't come together in a good way, 2/5.
Ben Houge - Main Theme (Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura OST)

Spiral out, keep going.90/100 - Somewhere between an old timey BBC documentary on the life and death of an important monarch, writer, or celebrity and a chamber music group. There's not really that much to it but it only really needs a single particular melody altered with a few minor variations to extract a ton of mileage.
Death Metal is something I physically can't listen to, sorry. 2/10.
7/10: Led Zeppelin got better as they went along-here, they just sound like a good if unremarkable blues rock band rather than Led Fucking Zeppelin.
David Bowie - Sound and Vision
Another green world.8/10. I really like it. It's a very relaxing and upbeat type of song I'd listen to when reading or out on a walk. And it's not too long either so that's also a bonus.
Word's second most famous attorney with a bird-related name. This song is sooooooo 90s. Not bad overall, the instrumentation is good and the vocals definitely fit the tone of the song. The genre is admittedly not my thing, but I give it 7/10.
Hozier-Angel of Small Death in the Codeine Scene [1]
I get an old school blues vibe from this, pretty good. It's easy to listen to, has a nice chorus, and instrumentation. 8/10.
Weezer are a punchline nowadays, but back in the early stages of their career they had an unparalleled ability to be simultaneously dorky and cool. I mean, goddamnit, lyrics about sweaters and shit should not work this well with crunchy, grungy guitars, but somehow they do and it's great. 9/10
King Krule - Out Getting Ribs
Tastes better on the way back down.
