Anyone here know about The Denpa Men They Came By Wave? Me and a buddy downloaded the demo today. We've been having stupid fun just flailing about finding Denpa Men in the AR environs, and just sort of bumbling around the baby dungeon for babies. I think the Corn Critter is going to become a major in-joke.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI LOVE METAL GEAR SOLID 2!
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! So, thanks to the video game archive at my college, I have played Naughty Bear for the first time today. And I love it. I love the hell out of it.
Now, I want to see a game that plays like that, but with a bit more actual horror. Maybe take some design cues from Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni...
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. So I bought Deadly Premonition. ...I sure hope to all hell I know what I'm getting myself into. Either way, I fully expect to spend the first few in-game days studiously ignoring the plot to run around and look at all the pointless signage in the game, because eff yeah meaningless details!
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaMake sure to stop by the convenience store The Milk Barn and check out the Choorios, Mxwxll Housx coffee, Cress and Colgala brand toothpastes, and the Trix!
I love that game's world. It feels alive in ways that few other game worlds do, even Skyrim's, as the world here is entirely the town and its immediate surroundings, and therefore all the detail went into making the town feel alive.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!Choorios are the best cereal ever, dood! Also, now I know what people were talking about when they kept referring to "the" pickles.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI got Mass Effect 2. As soon as I could move around, I spent an hour and a half reading all of the entries in the Codex. I fear I might be a nerd.
Likes many underrated webcomicsI like to use Tattle on every single room and NPC in the game in the Paper Mario games, so you're in good company.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI'm glad The Amazing Spider-Man is sold on Steam. Having the PS 3 version, it's funny seeing the framerate suddenly jump to 60 (during levels, not free-roaming the city) while running at 1080p instead of 720p.
I'm up for joining Discord servers! PM me if you know any good ones!...I fear my PC may not be as fit for modern gaming as I first thought it would be. My graphics is not doing its job properly. I'll have to try to optimize it somehow.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Just once I'd like to play a game where you are rescuing or avenging your son, not your daughter.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Like Heavy Rain, you mean?
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaHe is talking about games, not movies.
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Meh, I still see Heavy Rain as a game.
Then Again, Asuras Wrath is more of an Anime TV Show then a movie like Heavy rian, thoiugh, but I think both are unique concepts regardless.
Besides, It's not like Dragons Lair didn't do the interactive movie thing first.....
Watch SymphogearOh hell.
My PS 3 is overheating again (its happened before and I let it sit for a day I think and it was fine)
But I have a rented game in there and I can't get it out because it turns off before it ejects.
Have you considered opening the PS 3 to force removal?
Alternately, stick it in a freezer for a few hours.

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Well its a rented disk in there so I don't want to do anything extreme.
I'm gonna let it sit over night and hope I can at least have it stay on long enough to eject the disk.
Its not YLOD though so I'm saving some hope. I don't want to blow 100 bucks on a repair.
A freezer's not gonna destroy the disc. XD
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Well, there's no room in our new fridge for a PS 3 fat. I'm just gonna let it sit over night or so, before I do anything drastic.
Its just Resident Evil 6 so I don't care if I can't play it.
I'm more concerned about the health of my PS 3.
I shouldn't have put it back on the shelf, it overheated last time I did that but NOOOO I had to vacuum. And I forgot to put it in the safer spot.
Well, you could see if blasting it with an air duster does any good.
Sigh... Look, I know game manuals ain't what they used to be, but for all that's good, game devs, at least pack in a pamphlet that explains your game's controls. Especially if your "tutorial" doesn't really explain what buttons you push to do what either.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~Madrugada
I've done that. Lots. Man being a chronic worrier sucks.
Seriously. They just don't care about manuals anymore.
Well, beat quest 29 in Half Minute Hero. Oh god. Li... ar... That was surprisingly depressing in a game that is filled with excuse plots and npcs you're not supposed to care about.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!
