Just wondering... if it has been duscussed elsewhere, I'm sorry to bother you but... why is Postscript Season considered to be a Subjective trope? If the series has been uncancelled, that's kinda objective right?
I understand that the opinion on whether a Postscript Season was a good idea or not is completely subjective, but the fact that a series came back for an encore seems pretty undisputable to me.
Or did I miss something here?
Everything can be found on the Internet;
Except common sense.
In this thread Fast Eddie said he was going to transfer everything that had been on the Fan-Speak page, to the Audience Reaction page, and "The ones that should really be in YMMV can be transfered from there."
All the tropes you mentioned are under the "sorting and weeding needed" subheader.
So it's a work in progress, right now.
Dentaku in the YMMV discussion page:"Is there any reason Scenery Porn is put on this list? The trope is not subjective, but describes deliberate attempts at making elaborate backgrounds. If the only condition seems to be that some people might disagree with a trope, then you might as well put 99% of the wiki on this page."
Sturgeons Tropes: The reasoning to the inclusion of most of the tropes is based in the reaction of the audience- including objective tropes(as Status Quo Is God and Flat Character). Beyond this, if a specific use of a trope was good or bad is subjective.
