Looking at the examples, they seem relatively objectively written. The problem seems to be that there's no clear boundary of what counts or not, other than that the first season was better received than the second, and that it ends there. I think it's more of an Audience Reaction than a trope, though.
Check out my fanfiction!Should Not as You Know Them be listed on the YMMV page?
Why?
Check out my fanfiction! The example section and wicks for Grandma, What Massive Hotness You Have! have been cleaned so there's no more subjective usage for that trope.
The bigger problem was the frequent misusage in place of Older Than They Look.

I am nominating Reality Is Unrealistic. Following the description, it is the audience guessing something realistic is unrealistic. In other words, an Audience Reaction.
I don't think so. It can be objectively demonstrated. It may be getting applied subjectively or in a "complaining about fans" manner, but the criteria themselves are not subjective. Seems like it might qualify as an Audience Reaction though.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Audience Reactions have the YMMV banner.
Hmm, so they do. I misread your entry.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Can we get the Sweet Exists entry off the crowner? Sugar Wiki is a subwiki, not a trope list.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, that isn't really a valid option. Sugar and Darth pages aren't meant to be wicked on the main wiki anyway, to my knowledge.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. Not sure if this is the right place, but I think The Catchphrase Catches On should be Trivia, not YMMV. Nothing seems subjective about it to my eyes.
It's an Audience Reaction, akin to Memetic Mutation.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMoving to long term.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI'll ask again since it's still getting positive votes. Is there a reason why Grandma, What Massive Hotness You Have! should be YMMV? It's reads like like a trope in the same way Amazonian Beauty or Big Beautiful Woman are tropes. If we're gonna classify as YMMV then we might cut the page.

Because people think that all the "hot" stuff is just Fetish Fuel in disguise.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHaving visible old characters and portraying them with Fanservice Tropes, The Beautiful Tropes, or making them a Love Interest, isn't Fetish Fuel though. I don't large misuse is a good reason to make a legitimate trope subjective.
A cleanup (which was already done), or a rename, sure, but turning this into a page where tropers can gush about whatever old character turns them on seems wrong.
For exactly that reason, I gave it a in the crowner.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm left very confused by the "put Sugar Wiki under YMMV" bit.
My guess would be that whoever put that up was thinking about adding the YMMV page to every page in the Sugar Wiki.
Which, in my opinion, is unnecessary; that's what the difference in background is for, as Sugar Wiki is for inherently subjective or non-serious stuff.
Re Reality Is Unrealistic, the amount of Conversation In The Main Page is pretty low, to be honest. Ergo, it gets a as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt feels like the choices have been re-worded or something, because I don't recognise my voting choices... Or someone used my account, which may or may not have happened...
Check out my fanfiction! No such thing is visible in the crowner history.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHow about the "Adorkable" pages? One person's dork is another person's "in need of a punch in the nose." Or something like that.
For lack of a better topic: Does JustForFun.Come For The X Stay For The Y really need the YMMV banner?

Crown Description:
YMMV is for items that are reactions of the audience to works and tropes that need a significant judgment call to tell whether they exist objectively or not. Should these items become members of YMMV? Note: Audience Reactions need to be subjective, emotional responses and things that are likely to cause arguments and disagreements. Merely being outside a work or inside an audience don't make things YMMV
Is Second Season Downfall YMMV or objective?
