Hmm, I'd forgotten about that comic. Well, in any case, that just makes Tat even more guilty, by basically declaring that rape victims will become evil lust creatures who will go around raping (bomfing) more people.

And once again, Big D proves to be one of the most interesting characters in the comic.

Yeah, but when's the last time we had a comic really focus on him? When's the last time we had some sort of meaningful comic about Slick? All these characters and story arcs, left in limbo while we keep getting the glorious Sisterhood and Robot Revolution.

I wonder why we don't see any angels other than those two silly ones who double as Jehova's Witnesses parodies.

Cynical answer: Because there are no famous female angels. It's all Gabriel up in this, not Gabriella.

Less Cynical answer: No freaking clue. For all we know the little guys are actually the big guys after the Almighty Hand of God decided he didn't need to take Big D seriously as a threat anymore.

Maybe. Depends on the story usually.

It's hard to get invested in a plot line if it's only brought up once in months at a time. I would like for Tats to finish this one up before burying it for months again

Hey all! I hope you don´t mind me cutting in. On account of angels... we saw more than duo of sister Ariel and brother Ezekiel... we saw cupid and now this not so chibi angel... that is whooping four *le gasp* angels! That is two... TWO MORE than two hell-born Devils we know of... and Vainglorius is supposed to be new one!

Which is probably why there is now about hundreds or so bomfed Demons.. yup.. Satan wanted company.

I am more curious about other group that showed more members but is now odly small... and yes... I am talking about Sisterhood of spooky stuff... more especially about scene where Blue confronted Xante... I mean... come on... Xante was toast... that shield of her couldn´t hold long enough(it's tad clear that shield is propably huge drain on tears) and without that tryke it is one chibi feminazi with many points in self... uh... dezi... ummmm... what is that word where you think way too much of yourself... meh... agaist fire succubus and Satans second in command Baby Blue. Xante would be literall toast... needle case for pitchfork... shrinked and swallowed whole... chared ligting rod... smited... K.O.ed... turned into frog and eaten... charcoal... finito... sleeping with fishes at the bottom of Tokyo bay... IF it wasn´t for arrival of about fifteen or so Sisterhood members to back her up... I mean... Xante isn´t THAT much convincing to not face wrath of angry demon... or anyone determined... or smart... um... so... where do you think these ten more members dissipated?

I really do wonder what was Tats thinking when he decided that his new 'heroes' would be emotionless, 'cool', chibi 'girls'(Slick is supposed to be between 16 and 21) on trykes... maybe he was watching horror film with child monsters? Nah... he was propably going for 'pure' vibe? Sooo... what do you guys think?

The Sisterhood characters being short has most to do with the art style of the comic. People only possess something resembling "normal" heights in the Reality Zone.

The aesop they deliver still falls flat, to say the least.

Monique and a lot of unnamed one-bit characters seem of "normal" height. It's Slick, Squigly, the Sisterhood, Lil' E, Seymour, and Criminy that are below average in height compared to their peers.

Och... I know about that, twas why I called them Chibi. But I must say... usually when is someone chibified, it is for comedy reasons and somehow temporary but this bunch is this small everywhere, bare Reality Zone... it is one of many things that I think that could be handled better. Also about Reality Zone... is it only me or it looks like there are many Reality Zones... I mean... Seymor seemed determined to suround ALL kind of zones with fences and closing Hell holes so unles is Reality zone really big... someone is taking Seymor work down or that place warp around, it must means that there is more than just one Reality Zone?

Sigh, why couldn´t be Tatsuya more like Pete from Sluggy Freelance? Sluggy seems handling both comedy and drama much better and in Sluggyverse demons actually go around and kill people.

But enough about depresing stuff, lets light mood a little with relevant joke? Ehm... Steve died and came to Afterlife(this joke gets better I swear), where he stood upon Gates of Hell... Awww nuts he said. He was about to run for it when with puff of smoke appear smilling a devil in suit that grabed his arm and said Hey, pal! Nice to meet you. Let's show you around shall we? and dragged him inside. Their next stop was... giant beach party where beer flowed freely, laughter was heard and air smelled with barbeque and sun was shining. This is Hell!? said Steve suprised. Yes, it is answered devil. Their next stop was giant club room where armchairs shined with smooth lether, air was filled with smoke from fine cigars and devil girl waitresses poured fine whisky into crystal glasses to conversing gentlemans. THIS. IS. HELL?!! gasped Steve. This is Hell answered proudly devil. Then on their way to next place they were walking around closed door from dark steel and evil symbols carved in. Curios Steve stoped by them, grabed old looking handle... opened door and looked inside. He was looking into large caver filled with smell of sulfur and smoke, fire and screaming of tortured souls. On big fires were big cauldrons filled with oil where red skinned horned devils boiled Damned and keep stabing them with pitchforks while other devils manned various devices of torture and pain... Now, THIS is hell claimed Steve. Yes... it... is... frowned devil guide and slamed door shut. But you don´t need to worry about thi pal he claimed, this is only for christians... they wanted that this way... now for our next stop in this cirle...

He still chose to bail on Lil'E and his mother by choice. My sympathy for his regretting that is limited.

Well we don't know if he abandoned them by choice, do we? For all we know Lil'E's mother saw what Big D was becoming and wanted no part in it, so she left and took their son.

That looks more like he is disappointed in Lil'Ds tou choices, not that he is leaving. IIRC we had scenes where he was with older Lil'D and Lilith.

I mean, "newest" scene we have is Lilith trying to call Devil and being blow-off by some security guard, without Devil even knowing about it.

I usually don't mind the kanji strips, but the comic has so much padding and filler already.

I hope Tats continues the story he went back to Sunday.

Well, to be fair, the Sue-sterhood were inadvertently the reason we have sentient fembots running around...

Is it bad that I'm hoping the Sisterhood recommend going Old Yeller here? Just something to put our various "heroes" in conflict with one another.

I mean, it's pretty obvious Clio is gonna save the day with her 1337 haxorz skillz (Bonus points if she uses an unguarded port to do so) but I can hope.

So deeply ingrained is the man-hate that they didn't simply go find Jesus to de-bomf her. And don't say they wouldn't be able to find him. Dude just chills around town, isn't exactly hard to find. Or just go find some holy water to dump on her, since that seems to work just as effectively.

I'll be darned if I hadn't forgotten about that. Jesus actually managed to de-bomf both Baby Blue and Fuschia. Heck, that may be the reason Fuchsia was even able to fall in love with Crim in the first place considering the re-bomfing didn't really take. Something like this should be a snap.

...Quck that. Seriously, people, Ishida is quickly getting intolerable. How long until he renames the strips "Sisterhood Chronicles"?

I doubt he's willing to lose over 10 years' worth of branding, even if he's singlehandedly run almost all of said branding into the ground.
