I'm trying to figure out what to do now.

Mid-Term grades have more or less shaken me awake.

I've been far to lazy this semester and the slacking off is starting to show.

I may have to drop a class and pull a miracle out of my ass for a few others to keep my GPA from tanking.

Sigh. Guess I should cancel a few of my extracurriculars..

National and International Legal Institutions exam was this Thursday. Nervous about the scores; I do not want to read this subject again.

I am having trouble understanding this stuff on convex cones. Actually there's a lot of stuff I'm having trouble understanding, but that's a good place to start.

I'm going to look at wikipedia because it's usually pretty accessible. I'm pretty lost in this class.

So...yeah.
Wow. I think I did that in school. Years and Years and Years ago. Maybe. I didn't really pay attention to maths much, back then.
Complicated - because simple is simply too simple.

Metabolic analysis. Apparently cellular metabolism can be modeled by cones. It probably doesn't help that we're relating unfamiliar mathematical concepts to unfamiliar biology concepts.

I emailed my professor and told him that I have no idea what the fuck is going on.

Is studying abroad a good idea? I live in chile and want to be the best at math, but i'm not sure if studying abroad will get me closer to my goal. Or if it is a good idea at all.

So...yeah.
Studying abroad is a very valuable experience in general. I'm...not sure how it relates to maths.

My study abroad experience has not been very good.

Speaking of which — it's a bad idea to bring computers into hostels, right?

@montmorencey: I should have explained. I'm not sure, but i've heard that education in chile is not as good as other countries.

@ninety:i'm in my last year of school.

Well, the private universities aren't that good. But UC and U Ch can offer you as good an education as almost any other country — and a better one than all but the best.

Damn you! Things just got worse for me, I'm literally working on 3 projects now. And the only class I'm sure I'm passing is the Creative Writing one, ...probably Stagecraft to. The rest I'm very pessimistic about.

I think I'm finally managing to wrap my head around the Fourier transform.

It's just improvisation, really. Use every trick in the mathematical bag, and don't be intimidated too easily if a problem doesn't fit into any standard situations at first sight.

Good lord, it feels so good to be back to State Administration Law II after all that international law. I want to hug my red book of Norwegian laws and never let go.

Also, the lecturer is really good and has a very comfortable style of lecturing. waii

That feeling when you just sit down and start your test only for a classmate to have an accident postponing the whole thing a day.

I was totally psyched for it too. Now it's kinda like having to sit it twice.

Stagecraft project Part 1 was a disaster, and I'm equally swamped with Part 2

I have to top that with a Math project, and an Enlightenment essay, and a Mid-term tommorrow. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK- KKKKK!

Ah, that feels a little better to get out the system.
