i think KATAWA SHOUJO is tha best Visual Novel EVAR!! The storyline and plot are only near Nasuverse level but... IT'S VIRTUALLY FREE!!

Before I read the post, I actually interpreted that as an abstract vocalisation of Do Not Want...

HNNGGGG adj.'

1.) Onomatopoeia for the struggling sound a Hisao makes when having a heart attack.

2.) DO WANT. Very cute/want that you just had a heart attack. Synonymous with "A Certain Onomatopoeia".

e.g 1. Hisao: HNNGGG

Lily(OTP): Are you alright, Hisao?

Well, Visual Novels are kind of hard to classify. Technically they're video games, but stylistically speaking I think they've got more in common with anime/manga, really.

Aren't they actually more like Choose Your Own Adventure Light Novels?

They are, but they come with lots of pretty pictures.

(But so do light novels, come to think of it.)

Only light novels have far less.

...Man, I've been capitalizing the weirdest shit recently. Just now I capitalized "Light Novels", and I often capitalize hiragana and katakana in the same way I would for the name of a language (eg. "Japanese"). I blame TV Tropes.

Is there any information at all on when the next act will be completed?

I'd really rather wait until there's more than one act before playing it at all, but I'm afraid production has stalled to the point that it won't happen at all.

From what I heard, the next release will be the full game, but there is no announcement as to when.

The Dev's blog posts at least 2-3 times a month, so I don't think prodoction has stalled so much as the fact that it is slow. IIRC, I remember reading off the blog that at least a few of the routes had finished (or were close to) the first drafts.

Where do I find the dev's blog? I was going on the basis of the site itself, which doesn't seem to have been updated in a long time.

I don't know, I was more thinking that if I didn't have legs, I would totally get prosthetics that made me look taller.

But then again, certain threads have made me sound like a sociopath with no social sense. That was kinda redundant
