Khaos Komix:

Uncle George
Wiki article: Khaos Komix, Website.

Anyone else read this, and thoughts on the recent developments. Oh yeah discussion will involve spoilers

[wmg] Jamie's mum's reaction in the latest strip is because she knows about Jamie being abused, and the abuser would be her husband, and she blames Jamie for it.

Mmm, Khaos Komix. Good to see a comic with a transman character, we get left out of a lot.

Re: latest strip(s) - I figured they were going to end up making Jamie sympathetic, especially now that Charlie's dating him. Didn't expect this, exactly, but it does make sense. Poor guy. Hope this ends with some healing for present!Jamie.
Needs moar Pyramid Head.

The artist has stated that Jamie is their favourite character, and he's been pitted to be a sympathetic figure by the end of the story.

Wicked. I'm a sucker for redemption.
Needs moar Pyramid Head.
The recent developments have made me a lot more curious about Jamie, who previously came off like such a Flat Character. Although I'm more interested in Charlie's story after learning more about her in Tom's.

(Steve is still my favorite character, although that might just be a case of First Installment Wins.)

Uncle George
Steve's my favourite too, I kinda identify with him (and he's the one that's most my type). I like the part about the story is that you can't really know any of the characters until they tell their side of it all; Jamie will be an enigma until the the last page of Jamie's Story rolls around.

Well, Jamie's dad as molester seems Jossed, especially considering Tab's posts on the forum.

Hmmm... I wouldn't say Jossed just from the strip, but I don't frequent those forums, so I'm assuming you have information I don't.
the dice are loaded, the deck is stacked, the game itself will hold you back

I sense a timeskip soon. Also, tangential speculation, is Nay already in to girls, she certainly seems keen on watching the show there.

Love the new incentive. Hope I'll never have to recieve a card like that, though.

Why's Alex so defensive about someone liking him? Also, looking back at Mark's story, Mark had a crush on Alex, but didn't act on it because of Jamie.

Also, the vote incentive is lulz.

Also, the vote incentive is lulz.

I second this.

So, what is his orientation anyway? Everyone assumes he's gay, he certainly has feelings for the very masculine Tom, and a keen interest in Steve and Mark's shenanigans.

Not Actually Indie
It's possible that he actually is straight (or almost completely straight) and just has a thing for Tom specifically. It does happen occasionally in real life. Possibly he's bisexual, and only realized he likes guys later.

Personally, I was hoping from early on that he would actually turn out to be straight. It would be a kind of amusing twist; plus, that's more or less what happened to me. Only a few people ever teased me over it, but I've learned that I apparently trip people's gaydar like nobody's business (one guy even considered me flamboyantly gay) despite the fact that I am a complete zero on the Kinsey Scale.

I have no idea how many people who know me actually realize that I'm straight.
...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.

For fun, first read the comic without reading the grey text, and then with them.

Also, yeah, been slacking on posting the new pages, mostly, because there was a two week pause in the schedule.

Hey, this comic's still going! I thought it'd been abandoned.

Nope. It's just been very, very slow.

Although it is starting to pick up again.

Uncle George
Oh yeah, Tab was a bit busy with doing steam punk costumes (and fabulous hats) for an expo the past few months.

I'm tempted to enter those same seachword on my google toolbar.

I think the person talking about secret homosexual lust is Tom, but not sure.

Yeah, it's Tom, hence the statement below those two panels.

Damn, I need to make "Straight men don't do that" a signature or custom title line some time soon.
