....It seems weird that a show about Cajun people hunting alligators has caught my attention, seeing as I'm a suburban Northeastern girl with a CNN newscaster accent who hates the idea of killing anything. But it has.

The main reason I love this show is that it's just so dang INTERESTING. People have lived the life of the bayou gator-hunters for HUNDREDS of years, and it hasn't died out. The accents are also fun for me, being an amateur linguist and loving accents a lot. Just wanted to see if anyone else likes this show.

I grew up in south Alabama and went fishing and hunting in some marshy areas, but nothing like these guys. That is a hard life they live.

At first I wasn't too keen on the showm but a chance viewing of it changed my tune.
