As a last resort, go to the /tg/ board on 4chan and request artwork of the characters in question. Ask nicely enough, and they'll likely deliver. Although...again, last resort.

Okay, I'll say it outright; If you want to be added or taken off of the list of active players, you're gonna have to tell me yourself. Through here, the discussion thread, or PMing. I don't continuously monitor this list and update it, which is poor form, but still, I get lost in other things easily, so I need to be reminded quite a lot about this stuff.

A few fourth wall jokes can be fine, but it gets annoying after a while. If a character doing something breaks a rule, there's nothing wrong with being different from canon to prevent it.

A lot of people play as real life people, fictional characters, and original characters. It's all fine. Also, don't forget to go to the discussion to find out the current state of things so you don't come into the roleplay confused. It's happened to many in the past, and we don't want to turn away players.

Well, sincen the character I had in mind died in the 1930s, he'd probably just appear in a weird space-time rift.

Yes, but do introduce yourself in the discussion thread beforehand.

More specifically, there is no character sign-up. However, going to the discussion will allow you to get a grip of things so you can understand where everyone is, and what's basically going on. Not saying you would know the characters(though your character may recognize more famous ones, but outside of real life people and extremely famous characters like Mario, it's best to avoid it in general).

If you have a character from the same series as another one, the chance that they're recognize the character(like playing a Touhou character would recognize another one fairly easily), then it's not really breaking the fourth wall.

Could you remove me from the list, Raidou? I can't believe I didn't ask this earlier. And yeah, some people don't care about the Script/Book Format if the player is still pretty good. (Kentok, that guy who played Sebastian) However, the Spartacus April Fool's Day Avatar joke now makes it impossible to play with some tropers.

Sure. You should head down to the Discussion, neatly available in the rules list on the first page of this topic. If you're read the rules already, you'll find the game fairly easy to get into. It's often best to start when there isn't a major arc happening, which is currently the case at the moment.
