Lately I'm having this odd problem where I get PMs but don't get the green "you have a new private message" notification bar. It's been happening the last week or so—though it's irregular; sometimes it still shows up.

They're still in my message box and I can still read them without any problems; I just don't get the notification sometimes.

(Related: I also sent something to Fast Eddie a few days ago, and I'm not sure if he got it and just didn't respond, or if he suffered the same problem and missed the message. So putting this here so if it's the latter, and you're reading this, then you know I sent you something.)

I have a similar problem, where sometimes a PM that was sent to me simply doesn't arrive.

Man, this PM thing has been a pain in the butt, programming-wise. As soon as the day job lets up a bit, I'll have a look at it.
