Because Kinkajou told me to.
So yeah, anything about Final Fantasy! I guess this would make a good starting point: Which are your favorite games in the series and why?
My two all-time favorites are tied between Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy IX. They're both very fun games that don't take themselves too seriously while still being legitimately emotional. On top of that, Zidane is my favorite Final Fantasy lead in the entire series. He's light-hearted, fun, and a generally nice guy to be around. FFV also has the advantage of having one of, if not the best, Job System in an FF game. Both FFV and FFIX make characters customizable while keeping them all unique in their own way. I'm also very fond of Final Fantasy I; it hasn't aged well, but it's classic, and like FFV, I played it tons as a kid.
I assume we'll drift around to various other FF-related discussions as the topic grows, right?

Really like the music from the dungeon that seems to be inspired by FFV's library area. Looks like the end boss is that weird one from V that was just random "pages" sticking out of a giant boook.

So apparently the fire guy in this record keeper event can drop three 4 star fire orbs! Or one 4 star wind orb, but those fire orbs... time to farm.
I just noticed someone made a Record Keeper page, yay! I did have a few questions for you guys though, about some tropes. Since the events were brought over to the west out of order, their difficulty is varying and nigh random, with the best examples being Cecil's event being easier than Sephiroth's, and Rinoa's event being harder than Lenna's. So would that count as Difficulty by Region, or Schizophrenic Difficulty?

What about TWEWY?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.It's a remix of a track from it by the original composer.
Ugh. Fire Ship hard is just too tough for my level.
A shame, as I want a lot of Magicite. I will make Quake before this event ends, darn it!
I have a message from another time...Dammit, SE/LoL don't play with my soul like that!
PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/TheyFans have compiled the lyrics of the new theme as close as we can get(with some help from Calloway):
Echoes of truths that once rang clear
Two souls intertwined
One true love they did find
Bringing land and heavens near
But flames that burn full bright soon fell dark
Memories dimmed by shadowed hearts
In the waxing gloom
Did wane the lovers moon
Watching as their worlds drift apart
One soul's cry, a passion welling within
Sacrifice, a final plea to her kin
Yet this bond of hope, by treachery, was broke
Scattering her words to the wind
Swelling overlong, seas of blood are a song
And death an afterthought, to those who fight for naught
A throne - lying empty
A reign, incomplete
Alone for eternity
A pain, without cease
Children of the land, answer this
Why must you turn to empty bliss?
Tell me, why break trust?
Why turn the past to dust?
Seeking solace in the abyss
Tell me, why create a circle none can break?
Why must you let go the life you were bestowed?
This, I fear, I'll never know
Never know...

Enlong: Levels and party?
I've been able to beat Hard with everyone around level 30. I've been doing the good ol' retaliate trick, but I've also been able to do it just with a whole bunch of blizzard spells and blizzard spellswords.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderIts totally about Saint Shiva
Cecil P, Lenna, Terra, Wakka, and Cloud.
Cecil, Terra, and Wakka are level 32, Cloud's at 30, and Lenna is 24.
I'm going to put Terra back in the front row (Genji Armor) with a Rune Blade, so she can deal damage to trash while holding Blizzaga and Blizzara in reserve for Liquid Flame.
Where can I grind Lesser Power Orbs? I need 20 to get Retaliate to rank 3, and I can only get 10 from the Fire Ship event.
I have a message from another time...Sounds like Solitary Island has a pretty high chance of dropping lesser power orbs, so give that a shot.
One of my few regrets about being born female is the inability to grow a handlebar mustache. -LandstanderHm. That's a problem. I only have up to Floating Continent Escape unlocked in VI, and clearing that got me more IV stages. When does it unlock?
Wait, do you mean VI Solitary Island, or V Solitary Island?
Though, I suppose that doesn't change my first question either way.
I have a message from another time...VI Solitary Island. You get it right after Floating Continent escape, I believe.
...Or, wait. I think after you clear that batch of IV stages.

...heh. Golbez was a lot easier due to the game telling me what he's barrier shifting to.
I have a message from another time...I don't get why the Barrier Shift Boss is still a thing, thinking on it. Either it's laughably easy because the game tells you what works when, or it's incredibly brutal and luck-based because it doesn't.

I sure said that! What the shit?
I just had Cloud nearly one-shot Rubicante with a Retaliate counterattack. Sure, I had Armor Break and Boost active, but he dealt 9999.
Does Rubicante just lose a hilarious amount of defense when his cloak is open?
edit:
Ah. Turns out it's a glitch involving Armor Breaking his closed cape mode.
...
Solitary Island has the most hilariously token boss fight. Not just "Why is this a boss?", but "Why does this place have a boss, or fights at all?"
