YOSH!
I took IB Visual Arts 1 and 2 Higher Level, IB Math Studies 1 Standard Level, and IB English 1 and 2 Higher Level.

I didn't have what it takes for the full IB due to schedule and lack of ability to get all those hours, and I feel sorry for any fool who decided to do the full IB.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!
It's-a puffle!
I'm a fool who decided to do the full IB! :/ Any other tropers as crazy as me?
I am what I am, nothing more, nothing less.

That was me! I was also the basketcase who heard about those overachievers who took ten classes for fun the year of graduation, swore I wouldn't be that stupid, and ended up only taking nine and a half instead. tongue Nonetheless: Best. Year. Ever.
It's-a puffle!
I look forward to the day I can look back on IB with a real smile, not a bitter one. :P I had an IA due yesterday, only to rediscover TVTropes and, well... let's just say I got a bit distracted. I finished it, though. :)

Random Abomination
i am at the IB too! i have mixed emotions on it as a whole
Just awkwardly standing there, not explaining much necessary context.
My hair is whippable.
Pre-IB Hurrr.

Planning on taking HL Chem because they don't offer HL Physics. SL Math because they don't offer HL Math, so I'm taking AP Calc AB and BC online. My IB elective will probably be some random crap, Language will be SL Spanish, HL Lang and HL History for sure.

Er, what the heck is IB anyway, and why do you have an epistemology class? You people are mysterious

HL Biology, IB or Pre-IB everything else.
Yes Mickey
Is it okay if I was IB way back in 2004-2008? :P
I'm usually using my phone so typos and dropped words are bound to show up.

Yes Mickey
We'll be old together.

I dropped IB Junior year. I started taking AP classes instead.

Former full IB student here. Now in University. Not worth it at all. The CAS hours sucked balls, the white graduation gown was ridiculous, TOK was pretentious as shit, and the programme as a whole did not prepare me for a University setting.

Just take select IB courses to get the UNI credits (you can get University credits on certain subjects if your scores are good). Partial IB is the way to go if you think you can score high enough on the exams.

I found out after getting my extra three general credits for completion of the full IB program that I could not use them toward any basic requirement or towards my major or minor and that they were essentially useless shit.

Hooray.

That one guy!
Meh, I started this year off with it (HL Physics, Business, English; SL Chem, Math, Ab Initio French) but we moved back to the states and there aren't any IB school nearby here...

Ah well, I finally got my midterm results back and I'm surprised at how well I did...
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccceeeeeeeeeeee!
Ari
I'm taking IB right now - was going to do diploma, but then I got really sick and missed a lot of school, so now I'm just taking a slew of IB classes. XD IBHL English, IBHL Biology, IBSL Math Studies, IBHL Psychology, Mandarin III Ab Initio, and IBHL Theatre Arts. I'm so close to being done...just gotta take my six or seven IB exams in May.

...Just don't make the mistake of spending all your study time on TV Tropes. :P

Too late! Right now I'm in my IBHL English class. XD

Oh wow when did this show up. *late to the party*

I'm doing the full IB! I foolishly started it thinking it would give me an edge, academically. Now, I'm in the very last months of the program and on the verge of throwing myself off a cliff. My sleep schedule has become nonexistent. Good thing my graduation is the light at the end of the tunnel!

(And yes. I have wasted so many hours on TV Tropes. But it's helped me actually do better in English class!)

I'm an IBDP graduate! I took English A1 HL, Psychology HL, Theatre Arts HL, Biology SL, Math SL, and Japanese ab. initio. I highly highly regret not taking Physics or Chemistry at HL instead of Biology SL because then that would fulfill the physical science requirement for my undergraduate degree. To be fair, I didn't know you could opt to take four subjects at HL (I was told that I had to take 3 HL and 3 SL), but still. ARRRGHHH one of the biggest regrets of my life.

My IB years were one of the best of my life though. Even better than college.

honest narcissist
I'm doing the Certificate, not the diploma. Just two courses, History and English, because I value my social life so much. aka lurking on TV Tropes like the basement dweller I am.
I like my coffee black just like my metal.
I did IB in year 11 and 12 (aka last two grades of high school). It was hard, but I still liked it.
