Bhelen's behavior wouldn't change if his brother really were a reformer though. He needs to be the one in control, he needs to be the one to change Orzammar. It's his city, his dream, his mistress and his right.
Yup. I fully believe he thinks he's the only one who can save Orzammar.
Yes, but he would still stab you in the back even if he felt you'd do the exact same things.
I think Bhelen is only out for himself. He's hoping to tun the casteless into loyal supporters/soldiers against the darkspawn in order to expand and secure his power. That his methods of doing so are ultimately for the good of the kingdom is incidental to him.

So, anyone decided yet what kind of Inquisitor they plan to make?
Myself thinking of a Female Qunari Mage, with the american voice set coz I can't say no to her sounding like Arcee.
Male human 2H warrior with the British voice. About the only personality I've come up with so far is Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
Just trying out the Keep beta.
It read my DAII saves, and didn't pick up my DAO ones. Despite that both games has not been installed in this computer (I just copy and pasted the save files to the right folder etc ready to reinstall the game). Given that my DAII save a continuation of a DAO save this will get interesting.
My Dwarf Noble told Bhelen that he was playing by the rules. And just so you know, Bhelen plays by the Dwarven rules better than anyone.
I'm not even sure which of them I crowned. They all look the same to me.
What did your coin tell you?
In their live streams I believe.

Trying to think of my personality for my Inquistor. In my Golden Playthroughs, my Warden was somewhat of a Knight in Sour Armor. My Hawke was the classic scoundrel.

Sounds about right. I'm thinking for Inquistor it might be like...is there a trope for an unwilling messiah? Or maybe it could be the opposite, like they Jumped at the Call.
My Inquisitor will be all like "Guys, just shut up for a minute and let me save the world!"
I don't know if there's a specific archetype, but unwillingness to save the world is an jntegral part of The Hero's Journey
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'm wondering if the issue of not reading DA:O saves is at all related to it being a Steam Copy of the game???
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I mean if I end up playing an elf, since their Dalish, I imagine I will play her as a bit rude when it comes to the herald of andraste thing and having to lead the inquisition. She'll get over it, but I imagine her being really annoyed about being pulled into the whole thing.
I've decided to play a really sweet natured, girly Qunari, because I can, so she'll be more confused that angry or adamantly rejecting the title. I think my dwarf will also be like, what is even the fuck can I go home now?
I'm planning to play my Cadash as reluctant at first, since he is a member of a crime family. But eventually he grows to actually care.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'm going to say that my Qunari will start out a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, and then eventually transition into a full-blown hero, but I know I'll wimp out when the first chance to be mean comes up and play the rest of the game as a goody twoshoes (barring some snark).
Pretty much.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Yeah, I never have the heart to be the pointlessly evil jerk that bioware allows me to be.
I'm planning to play a Dalish, but I imagine her as someone who actually has a great deal of respect and admiration for Andraste - it's the Chantry she despises. I'm looking forward to seeing how much I can RP that out in-game.
Gone to Faerie, no forwarding address. (AO3)I rarely pick the evil options in Bioware game, because the evil choices often feels more Stupid Evil than me. Like, rarely do I feel like a Machiavellian evil anti-hero. I'm just psychotic and selfish and For the Evulz.
Man, that was the worst in Jade Empire because game spend quite a bit of time how Closed Fist wasn't just being evil... except it was.
Logical, maybe. But rational? I don't think so.
