Since One of Us is JFF, it should logically not be listed as a trope. So, this is finding an issue where there isn't one.

According to the description, the trope is meant for "someone who, while not officially associated with the company that produces a given work is still widely known in the fan community, and possibly by the producers themselves."
However, the trope is often misused on trivia pages to mean "famous person who is a fan of this work." If anything that seems more like One of Us. Should a greater distinction be made?
So far I looked through the A and B wicks in the Trivia namespace. The "A" wicks seem majority misuse and the "B" wicks have only about three valid examples. There seemed to also be some cases where the trope was used on pages for web creators to state works that they are fans of, which is also misuse.
