On the contrary, I think Mr. Burns is a well-known asshole. I don't really watch The Simpsons and I know that. Obviously, the white part at the bottom would need to be cropped out.

If an image relies on recognizability to get the point across then it's not good enough. Fan Myopia is a thing. Apart from very few exceptions, it doesn't matter how well-known the character is.
