Actually, I think this image is more scary than comedic. That smile of Rumpel is extremely psychopathic and creepy. Not a laughing matter at all. His tone with “happy ogre day!” sounds like he’s literally gone mad with power. Could we please add it back? In fact it’s 100% nightmare fuel material. I think it was fine the way it was. Could we please add the photo back to the page? Thank you.

Ngh 93What. He's just making a funny face, thats not scary.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Oh yeah? It looks pretty creepy to me. Okay, well, what do you think is REALLY the most scary face Rumpel makes? In fact, could you give me image(s) from https://animationscreencaps.com/shrek-forever-after-2010/ to show me a more threatening pic of Rumpel's psychotic grin? I might be able to understand what you mean a little better. And we can add that new image in place of the old one. How's that sound?
Ngh 93Images on Nightmare Fuel subpages have to be scary by themselves, "it's even more nightmarish in context" arguments like "his tone of voice is scary" shouldn't really be considered. Maybe the moment itself is terrifying in the film, but to me, who hasn't seen it, it looks like a mildly irritated dude gritting his teeth or pulling a face. Not helped by the funny judge wig, either.
There is literally not one image of Rumple I could see working for this trope. The character is a caricature.
Well, you're not looking hard enough keep looking. He makes plenty of psychotic smirks throughout the movie.
Ngh 93This is starting to run into Single-Issue Wonk territory; locking.
I think this picture verges too much on comedic than scary — with the added bonus that this was added by a user I'm almost dead certain is a ban evader, too!
I don't think this one works. I'd say pull it and I can't exactly recall the film having much in the way of good imagery for the trope either.
