So we have an image of an old lady with swastika cookies. It's not clear where it came from, or whether or not it's real. It's not potholed, and even the filename only repeats the trope name.

For all we know, she might've baked them as an homage to the original meaning of the swastika, rather than the Nazis' misuse of it. For all we know, this might even be edited. Either way, we'd have been involved in slander, and if anyone who thinks they recognize this old lady in the street hassles her about it, we'd be partly at fault. Let's either find out where the image comes from, or look for alternatives. Here's one:

Previous thread. GIS didn't turn up a version of the pic that didn't have those cookies, and while the suggestion may be a bit more on the nose, the current's amusing in a very Black Comedy way so I'm inclined to keep it.

Keep the current.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.

The current turns up enough results from meme sites I'm inclined say it's unedited and not something someone stole from a random Facebook to get someone harassed.

I'm going with keeping it.

I'd like to refrain from"swastika=nazi" {some family members are Buddhist), so I pick 1.1.

[up][up][up] I'm waiting for actual proof. Not just that it's unedited, but also that it isn't taken out of context.

[up] Eh, I figure the facial expression in mine adds more than that one.

6 > 1

More concise and I like the art style better. Also there is no overlap with China Takes Over the World.

I'm good without a caption. Something humorous would undermine the trope, and there's nothing to add on a serious note with a caption.

Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.
