I hate those movie World War Z zombies that flow like some kind of tide. Tyranids or zerglings I can see smashing against buildings en mass and raising a living pillar, not human zombies.
I really want a zombie game with slow zombies. All of them. No spitting zombies or giant zombies, whatever. Just slow shambling corpses. Easy to kill, provided there's only a few and not, oh thousands.

It's terrifying, yeah, but the WWZ zombies weren't like that. They were the regular shambling hordes whose only threat was in sheer numbers.

Durability was another strength of the zombies in the books. Their blood coagulated into such a thick, gooey mass that it served to help minimize the damage done by shrapnel or concussive force, and that's not touching how the usual rule of "headshots = guaranteed kill" was occasionally subverted if the bullet didn't do enough brain damage.
Not to mention people underestimating them. There are a bunch of mentions in the book (and its audio version) about some people - or whole governments - underestimating the threat and paying dearly for it.
Yonkers comes to mind.

So, a new collaboration between Saber Interactive and Paramount. It's coming out in 2018, so it's probably a tie-in to the film sequel.
