Needs Help: Dueling Messiahs

I liked it, too.

Probably too text-reliant. I'm not sure the imagery adds much, if anything necessary.

Is that image even depicting dueling messiahs? It looks like a standard hero vs. villain argument considering that, per the dialogue, Magneto wants to destroy and not save?

May as well just put the text as the page quote.

I think it is best used as a page quote too.

Can, yes. Will we find such an image? Probably not. Or at least not one without much text. Maybe one where the image actually matters.

Not terribly convinced by the counter-arguments. The visuals do indicate some sort of world-stakes, and their dialogue makes it pretty clear that it's about their different visions for mutants vis a vis humans.

I disagree. Magneto mentions world domination, which is typically a villainous goal.

^ You just described the whole source of their conflict. The page specifically mentions "All-Loving Hero vs Dark Messiah", hence it fits the trope as described.
