@LizardOfAus: Okay, here we go.

I find the backstory for Owena to be quite impressive, and I kinda wanna accept this character.

However, Harry's powers are going to need a bit of rework.

I want to retain some degree of control as to when player Tulpas receive additional powers, and what those additional powers are. I'd rather not have player characters acquiring new powers in the middle of a fight, and the sheer number of powers he can obtain, even at "first year" level is a lot. I'd rather you just include the spells that Harry is going to have at "First Level" and wait to include the others. While not implemented yet, I intend to have players design and include their additional powers when their Power Threshold increases, which will happen at arbitrary times in-game.

I'm not going to go over the spells in grey, as I expect they will have to be cut or adjusted, but their descriptions could use a bit of expanding.

For Fracto Strata, I'm going to need an approximate range on that spell, along with some examples or descriptions of what qualifies as a weak object. Secondly, I'd like a description as to what sort of effects the spell has on objects that do not fall under this category (if it has any). Also, you say it's a zap-spell, though does it travel in a straight line, or does it arc to track an object? If the object could move, could it potentially move out of the way of the spell if it had the means to?

For Reparo, I'd like to know at what distance it can be performed from an object, or if it is a touch spell. Additionally, I'd like to have an idea of what sorts of repairs the spell can make to objects, and how the magic goes about repairing the object.

For Wingardium Leviosa, I'd like a weight capacity for this spell, along with the spell's approximate range, along with tracking capabilities.

Even without the spells, Harry seems to have a lot utility for a first level sign up (namely through his belongings).

Because Harry's magic broom is an item that came with him when he manifested, and because it has magical properties, it should be listed under the "Powers" or a separate "Enchanted items" section. I also request that its max speed be nerfed to something around 30-40 miles an hour.

The damage resistance for the cloak of invisibility should be removed, as having it as a protective layer of pseudo-armor along with its invisibility makes it very strong, and a lot of different powers or attacks could be mitigated or lessened by the cloak since they technically comprise of different forms of magic.

The Sneakoscope must be removed, as I do not want any player character with abilities or items that can "detect evil or danger," and the Sneakoscope could function as just that.

For the Moleskin Pouch, I'd like for you to describe what happens when someone other than Harry tries to cut into the pouch or open it.

This is the gist of the stuff that will need changing, though I expect additional revisions to Harry's power set might be necessary after the aforementioned powers have been elaborated on/modifications have been made. There's also the minor issue that none of Harry's powers or enchanted items are connected to his Core Concept, but this can easily remedied by giving him a Core Concept more suited to his power set.

It was never my intention to have him remember spells while still in the heat of combat, but rather at the end of it, a la levelling up from combat in an RPG. I've altered the paragraph to clarify this.

Every time Harry is actively involved in combat, he will subtly progress in age. At the conclusion of said fight, depending on how long and hard fought the encounter was, he may or may not be old enough to remember a spell. Nevertheless, some spells more than others require great concentration and skill to execute properly, and greater power can only come with practice. His ageing will cease when he has run out of spells to remember he next spell bracket would be unlocked when his Power Threshold increases, whenever that may be.

I've decided to delete both the sneakoscope and the mokeskin pouch entirely, as neither are that essential to Harry's identity, and moved both the broomstick and the invisibility cloak to powers, with adjustments made appropriately. Adjustments also made to the ungreyed spells, as requested, and a little more expansion and specification to most of the greyed-out spells. Also switched the Core Concept out for Wonderment, though hopefully I might eventually find a way to slot him more neatly into 'love', seeing how that's the main theme of his story arc in the source material.

@LizardOfAus: The changes are definitely an improvement, though I'd just to make note of a few things in regards to Magic's relation to the Power Threshold mechanic.

I intend for player characters to increase in power threshold after being active in major encounters (which may comprise of a number of "short" skirmishes). I sorta intend for player Tulpas to acquire one or two new abilities when this happens, so it wouldn't make much sense for Harry to acquire the next tier spell bracket after an encounter that may encompass a few battles. Basically, I'd rather that Harry just acquires two or a few spells after each major encounter like I intend to do for everyone else, and acquire later-tier spells when he runs out of spells I'm willing to allow in his first tier. I'll have a post in the discussion thread detailing how I intend for leveling up to work, but I'd rather not have player characters acquiring powers faster than anyone else/using their own system of leveling.

Right, I think I understand. I'll leave the levelling up rate entirely in your hands, and I'll match the rate of ageing to that.

Hm...would it be best to send you the complete list of Harry's spells that I've compiled, so that you can sort, alter and disqualify them all at once, at your own discretion?

@LizardOfAus: Okay, I just would like to see the stuff about how Harry acquires spells and whatnot modified in the sign up to reflect this, after which the sign up should be accepted.

Also sending a spell list would be alright.

I should also note that we're getting close to the end of a major encounter, so there might not be much Owena and Harry can do within the current in-game day. People can probably bring you up to speed on things (if they haven't already), but basically the town has just suffered a Clown attack with a somewhat heavily-armed truck thing, and people will probably trying to clean up the mess and whatnot.

I don't mind waiting for a more convenient time, even if it means hanging on until the next Game Day. Gives me time to properly hash out the skillset if nothing else.

Edited the magic section to reflect the level-up system, and decided to remove the greyed out spells, leaving only the unlocked ones in the folder. I should have a comprehensive version of my intended spell list ready by this time tomorrow. Would you prefer me to send it via Tropes PM or Discord PM?

@LizardOfAus: I would prefer receiving it via Tvtropes PM.

With that in mind, Owena and Harry Potter are accepted, and I'll send the discord link shortly.

Just bumping this to note that sign ups for this game are still open (and have not been closed), if anyone is interested, or if anyone has previously signed up for this game but wants to play as a different character/people want to rejoin. Although initial power thresholds are still set at one, I will attempt to balance sign ups relative to current player characters' strengths/abilities.
