Meetra Surik - Ahoy City Crime Scene

"I have never heard of a race called the Grineer," Meetra said to the Warframe. "Are they violent? Do they carry plague? The man in silver warned us to stay away from this one, as though she were the danger, and I did not sense great hostility from him towards us."

She waved at an officer approaching the scene and asked him to take over the duty of securing the area, using a hint of the Force to have the man not ask too many questions of them.

The Forever Islands gate

Shantae was about to walk into the gate when someone talked to her. She turned and saw the white-haired boy with an eyepatch. She tilted her head, frowned, and shook her head.

"Sorry, I don't, I just got here myself," Shantae admitted. "I'm looking for a pirate queen and a silvery armored man who uses magic," Shantae told him. "Have you seen either of them? I would be very grateful!"

Dar, via Banshee — Ahoy City Crime Scene

The brown-robed woman — Meetra, she said her name was — never heard of the Grineer? Dar grimaced in surprise. Combined with her mentioning of a "Force" and other such mysticisms, this made Dar surmise that she was, perhaps, not from the Origin System at all.
"You haven't heard of the Grineer?" the Tenno asked via her Warframe. "They are a plague, but only in the metaphorical sense; in truth they are an Orokin creation, a race of decaying clones who augment themselves with cybernetics and seek to put the Origin System under their dominion. However, that woman clearly isn't Grineer — there are no modifications."
The Warframe put a hand to the sharply-angled chin of its helmet. "I know only of one great plague: the Infestation, which is also called the Technocyte Virus. You have never heard of it, either?" It looked toward Meetra again.

The information went completely over his head.

Not out of maliciousness, of course, but there was only so much information a person could take.

"I was unaware of this too. You are... aware that we are all from different dimensions?"

Meetra - Ahoy City

"I have never heard of such things, but the Galaxy is larger than anyone could hope to explore and learn of in a single lifetime," Meetra said. "Though it is as he says, perhaps we are not from the same Space after all."

She glanced over at the police as they started to bag the body and load it into an ambulance. "I would hazard a guess that we'll have to wait a bit before they've transferred it to their station and analyzed it."

"I can take a look at your vocabulator," she added to Banshee. "If we can get it repaired you won't have to resort to this strange form of speech. There must be a place around here... there."

She looked around and pointed at a nearby downtown area with a lot of benches along the sidewalks.

Dar, via Banshee — Ahoy City Crime Scene

Back in the Orbiter, Dar scrunched her face. Whatever were those two talking about? Galaxies? Dimensions? Surely that was nonsense. She was about to reply when Meetra suggested 'taking a look at Banshee's vocabulator'. It took her a moment to figure that she meant Banshee's vocoder.
"This Warframe is not a Corpus Proxy!" the Banshee 'said', the vibrations deep and gravelly this time. "You honestly think a Warframe is a… a robot with a malfunctioning vocoder?" The Banshee covered its 'face' with its hands, then stiffened. Purple energy played over its body, and a small, barely pubescent girl wearing an ornate jumpsuit appeared out of the Warframe. She looked up at Meetra. "Just where are you from?" she asked – with her own voice, for a change.

Well, he was certainly not expecting that.

Not the fact that she was human (or at least, appeared to be), he had just expected a more Bofoi approach, in that the robot was a remote-controlled drone with the user being miles away. He had not expected her to be inside the robot.

He was already getting major Tatsumaki vibes from her. As if he hadn't had enough of a headache from his beatdown.

"If you're so eager to speak now, why did you not jump out sooner?" he snarked.

"Well that's certainly a new one," Meetra remarked when a veritable child appeared from the machine.

"Meetra Surik, charmed," she said to the girl, holding out a hand. "I don't particularly come from anywhere anymore, though I was once from Dantooine."

Ochaco dashed toward the lizard man as he held Fabiola, flinching only momentarily at the surprise shotgun blast before she slipped in to attempt a weak slap at his torso under the arm he was using to lift the girl before continuing a few paces and stopping to watch as he discovered that, with his gravity removed, his grip on the maid was the only thing tethering him to the ground.

Dar — Ahoy City

The kid looked at Sweet Mask like he was an especially dumb animal. "Jump out?" she asked him. "Out of what? Out of my non-functioning Orbiter? Out of my barely-functioning Liset? Out of this strange place and into the Void?" With that, she snorted and pointedly looked away from him and to Meetra.
"Uhm… hello, I guess," the Tenno told Meetra and reached up to shake her hand. "Where is this Dantooine? Is it a Colony? Is it somewhere on Earth?"

New Rome

Doomguy paused in his wanderings of the strange city. Well, strange wasn't quite the right word, really, from what little he remembered of his pre-Hell days, he was pretty sure it was pretty normal, but that made it entirely too odd for him. For one, no demons trying to burn and pillage and other unsavory things running around. For another, there were plenty of still living and unharmed people walking about. And for another, it was just peaceful. Well as peaceful as a populated city could get.

He moved through the crowd not really slowing for anything, but traffic, with most of the pedestrians just naturally clearing a path for him. He wasn't entirely sure where to go at the moment, but heading for central hub of transit seemed like a decent enough idea at the moment.

New Rome

Alex lay back on the rooftop, thinking. That man in the forest had not been with Blackwatch, he concluded. Then he chastised himself - he knew full well that Blackwatch wasn't here, that they'd been left in ruins back in his home universe and were probably never coming back. Plus, they didn't know the meaning of the word 'subtle.' He'd notice them immediately if they did come in. And if they knew he was here they'd probably quarantine the city. Or try to and fail. They didn't really have jurisdiction here.

He rose, walked to the edge of the building, and tensed his leg as if to jump. Then he saw the armored man down below. It wasn't a D-Code, but it was undoubtedly a soldier. A super soldier. He switched to infected vision - nothing, thank god - but it still set off a warning bell in his head. Why would a soldier be here, by himself? And the way this guy was holding himself...

Alex found the nearest convenient out-of-sight alleyway, slid down a building and landed firmly on the ground. He switched forms, changing into a blonde woman in a casual pantsuit, and walked briskly out of the alleyway, quickly finding the armored man again. Hoping that he wasn't falling into a trap, he matched the soldier's pace, but kept his distance, following and watching. Let's see where you're headed, super soldier.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

Meetra - Ahoy

"Dantooine was once the home of the Jedi Enclave, but it is not on anything called Earth," Meetra replied to Dar.

"Now if your armor does not have a malfunctioning vocabulator, we can more freely discuss just how we came to be here and how we are to deal with our new circumstances," she added. "When in a new world and without any other ideas, the chamber of commerce is the best source of information. With luck, we can discover what places of interest may shed more light on this. And if we are stuck here for an extended period of time, it can provide us with bounties to gain connections and credits upon completion."

New Rome - Central Station

Since the crocodile man was distracted watching his surroundings, he didn't notice when Fabiola pulled a shotgun out of nowhere and fired. This resulted in him being caught offguard and, startled by the gunshot, he let go of Fabiola's collar and stumbled back.

"What the hell?!" he yelled out, putting a hand on his ear and wincing from the loud noise.

Then Ochaco made her move while he was still distracted, resulting in the man being slowly lifted off the ground and floating up towards the ceiling, ending up stuck against.

"Goddamn, you're that gravity girl from U.A..." he said as he was helplessly with his back against the ceiling.

Tokoyami didn't even ge the opportunity to do anything, Ochaco's quick movement having stopped everything before it got really out of hand. The end result was that he only watched, although he himself had gotten startled by Fabiola suddenly showing that she was hiding a shotgun under her sleeve.

"Well done, Uraraka, that should keep him from disturbing the area for now." Said Tokoyami, then looking at Fabiola, "If you don't mind me asking, miss, why does a maid such as you carry firearms around?"

Well, that went okay. As it turned out, Ochako could manipulate gravity somehow, because upon her touch the crocodile man went flying like a helium balloon. She stared at him blankly for a moment before ejecting the spent shell and loading in one to fill up the mag. The shotgun disappeared back in her sleeve.

"As a Lovelace maid, I must protect Young Master from anyone who wishes him ill will." She explained to Tokoyami in a tone that suggested she didn't think much of what happened; it was just Tuesday. "Young Master's Father had already been claimed, so together with Head Maid we cannot let the Lovelace line end on him."

"I do apologize." She bowed her head a little. "I suppose that makes for a poor first impression. It appears however that this man knows Miss Uraraka? He referred to her as "gravity girl from U.A", so I presume she holds some recognition."

Finally Posting, New Rome Station

"Oooooh..." Excited clapping sounds resounded when the tiara wearing blonde that had been eating her street food saw the event that took place, a seemingly starry-eyed look in her gaze. "That's so cool, Miss Maid! You're just like the other ones I know! Truly the top scions of society must employ only the highest echelon of servants because you're so similar!" Though what was spoken was the truth, Cagliostro was busy putting on an act and behaving like a girl her age should (or at least what she thought a girl that age would because most would definitely not get excited at a shotgun going off, nope).

"You guessed it" Ochaco said cheerily to the now floating crocodile man "You just cool off up there a bit, I'll let you down eventually"

With that she turned back to the small group as Fabiola as she explained the gun "So you're a maid and a bodyguard? Wow..." Ochaco commented, looking even more impressed with the idea before the maids question brought her back from wondering just how wealthy the Lovelace family must be to afford such servants. "Recognition? Well, I guess he might have seen me on TV during the sports festival." she said simply, before pausing and suddenly pointing at Fabiola in an excited fashion "Ah! Don't tell me, your Master Lovelace isn't the head of a criminal empire, is he?!"

Perhaps fortunately a tiara wearing girl arrived to admire the battlemaid, and provide some distraction from Urakara's rather baseless speculation.

"a silvery armored...and a what? Uh, no, sorry," Abel shook his head. I just got here, too. I was hoping there were more people who knew where we were...I mean, obviously, we're at, like, a beach, or something, but uh...you wouldn't happen to know anybody like that, would you?

Nailed it.

Henry - New Rome Central Station

"Oh, come on!" The dark mage suddenly shouted from across the station. "What was that?! That was the most disappointing thing I've ever seen in my entire life!" He walked up to the group, Fabiola in particular, and grabbed the sleeve her shotgun was in, pointing her hand at his chest. "If you have to shoot me, I'm, like, totally okay with it. I just wanna see what this thing can do!"

The Tenno squinted at Meetra. "The… chamber of commerce?" she asked, doubt plain in her voice. "You'd go to the Corpus for information? I mean, I did my fair share of Invasions for them — gotta get those Vandal weapons, Fieldrons and rotten salad nav coordinates from somewhere — but I wouldn't trust a Corpus to give me correct information about… anything really. Unless I stole it from their data-banks."

Shantae frowned and shook her head. "No, I wouldn't happen to know about all that. I'd give you some food but I don't have any on me either. I thought this was just gonna be a quick little mission but if this goes on for much longer I'm gonna have to look for something myself..." Shantae sighed.

New Rome: Central Station

The Doomslayer was oblivious to the shapeshifter currently tracking him. While he had his fair share of being stalked in Hell, they never had entire crowds of non-hostiles to blend in with. Still some small part of him felt something was off, but he refrained from acting on it. If something bad happened he was sure he'd be able to react fast enough.

He made his way into the central train station and then paused as he looked at the crowd and then looked at what the crowd was looking at. Some sort of floating crocodillian humanoid. He almost drew a gun thinking that maybe this was a new demon, but the crowd didn't seem to be reacting the way they should have been to a demon IE Either being crazy cultists worshiping them, or running in panic, or trying to murder it dead.

He did however catch a strange man apparently telling a maid to shoot him dead. He walked over to this odd sight and then stared at the short bird headed teenager and the girl standing next to him. He gestured towards the maid and the suicidal man, and then raised his hands out in the universal sign for 'what!?'

A maid and a bodyguard at the same time, for a family whose line was in danger of ending. What would someone have against such a family? He had to admit Uraraka's guess was a fairly good one considering the lack of context they both had, which did leave Tokoyami feeling a little suspicious. Rather than press on the issue like her, however, I decided to instead elaborate on Uraraka's explanation of her apparent fame.

"We are both students from the most prestigious school for superheroes in Japan. It held an annual sports event where we had to compete with each other and other classes to show our capabilities to the public in hopes of impressing top heroes into wanting us to join them. Uraraka got to the top 16 in the event so she has gotten a good amount of publicity," he explained to Fabiola, intentionally avoiding mentioning his own performance in the festival since it wasn't really all that relevant to talk about it.

More people began approaching now that the situation had been handled. One of them was a girl who was surprisingly enthusiastic about Fabiola and her brief display. On the other side of things there was a man who was far too eager to get himself shot while also being unaware of what a shotgun could even do.

"A-Are you trying to get yourself killed?!" asked Tokoyami, completely losing his composure as he was caught offguard by this rather morbid display of childlike enthusiasm.

Finally there was another man, a very big one in fact, about the size of All Might, who was wordlessly asking about what was happening. To that, all Tokoyami could do was give him a confused look that showed that he was just as lost.

Meetra - Ahoy

"Let's leave the thievery for when we have no other options, shall we?" Meetra said to Dar. "I've never heard of the Grineer, and now there's the Corpus and the Vandal, but I've seen more than my fair share of cities, and this one seems normal enough - to a degree."

She shrugged her shoulders. It was on a beach. It had people. It had a murder involving a man in a shiny silver set of armor. It was practically like Telos. She may not have been familiar with all the races and cultures, but normal certainly sounded reasonable.

"I get the feeling you aren't familiar with cities like this, are you, child?" she asked, waving down a taxi cab to come towards them. "Where are you from? Do you not have proper cities?"

"Yeah, this is the beach...OH, you mean the gate!" Abel facepalmed, and though Shantae couldn't see it, Rixis was shaking his head in embarrassment crossed with disappointment. "Yeah, this is the Traveler's Hub. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but, uh...maybe the guy you're looking for went in there?"

Unfortunately for Abel, the girl he was talking to was actually...kind of pretty. He was seriously losing his cool here; it'd probably be better just to leave now before something bad happens. Buuuuuut...if he was gonna start acting normal now that SHELL was out of his hair (hopefully), he needed to start making friends, and why not start now? "I can help you look...i-if you want."

New Rome, Central Station

A lot of things happened in a short amount of time. It was to be expected, Fabiola chided herself, with a loud display like that.

Even still, she certainly didn't expect the first thing from an onlooker to be praise. "Oh, um... it's nothing special, I was just trained appropriately, is all." She replied sheepishly, playing down her achievements with a slight embarrassed blush on her face.

Then Ochako's suggestion came and Fabiola almost sputtered. "No! Um, nothing like that, though criminals do enjoy trying to harm him... He is simply the last man in the family line." And then before the weirdness factor could dissipate, someone in strange robes came over to her to ask her to... shoot her. "Absolutely not." She replied firmly, gently but decidedly batting his hand away with a huff, then adjusting her sleeve a little. "These are not toys; you could get seriously hurt if my finger slipped."

Tokoyami and the giant soldier that appeared recently seemed to share her incredulity at the situation. "A-anyway... did you say superheroes, Mr. Tokoyami? As in, comic book superheroes?" Perhaps not that surprising after all; Uraraka already displayed some phenomenal powers.
