I don't see anything wrong with the first one. Especially with a caption like "Aunt May? Is that you?"
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.This is one of those tropes where a caption is kind of necessary for any image to work.
1.1 works fine.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I think that's the best one so far.
Indeed.
ETA: Let's include 2 as the caption as well.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Can the light be a little better on the second panel of 4? It's clear, but it's kinda dark, so it doesn't look very nice.
Check out my fanfiction!4 seems good.
(Annoyed grunt)4, though lightening the color in the second panel would be nice anyway.

Sure.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Looks good to me.

I'm good with 10.
This one's at the clocking point, but we've got 5 votes for 10 so I'm calling it good. It's up and tagged, but I've held off on potholing it until a decision's made about a caption.
Well, someone added the obvious pothole and we don't have any other caption ideas, so let's lock up.
Ok, so this initial suggestion was fielded for the trope Age Lift in the Image Suggestion thread of Aunt May as she's portrayed in the Spider-Man comics vs (some of) the live-action movies. It was criticized for being potentially JAFAAC, with the caveat that "it might work with a caption" and "it's better than nothing". Then this second suggestion below was offered. Thoughts?
Myself, I think the second at least is closer to Progressively Prettier.
