This pic did not get enough consensus in the Image Suggestion thread. Other ideas?

An objection was offered that the original suggestion was too dark. Does this work better?

Quality is a bit lacking, and the brighter one seems fuzzier.

How does this pic inform the trope? The one guy reacting differently seems like another trope. For all we know he could be the token coward.

Tentative [tup] on the brighter one so long as it gets a quality upgrade to not be so fuzzy, unless there's a better suggestion down the line.

I never noticed the guy surrendering in the darker pic.

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty

The suggestion gave me completely the wrong idea what the trope is. I vote against.

^^^ Which other trope, exactly? The one guy choosing to surrender when his team has clearly got more guns on their side is the whole point that makes it a stupid surrender. Not sure how that's supposed to be related to any supposed cowardice.

^ Again, how?

The trope name is misleading. The trope itself consists of two parts. First we see a character fighting bravely, then later in a similar situation they surrender. My argument is that the one guy surrendering in OP might have always been a coward in similar situations which is misleading. A two-shot or lampshading is needed here.

Clock is set. Honestly, I don't really care for the OP, either version.
