1.3 is my preference, if the face melting isn't considered too graphic for a Nightmare Fuel page.
Edit: I like that the Nightmare Fuel page explicitly says that Toht's head melting was too scary to be a Nightmare Fuel page image.

No, the other one.
If there's a claim something is too scary for the page, it might actually fit the page. "...even tropers were scared," basically means, "it's actually an example."

I'm pretty sure 1.4 is already used elsewhere. Of the others, I like 1.1 or 1.2.

Why? (It's a perfectly fine picture for a franchise-wide image; we should only remove it from the page if we're actually change the franchise page image.)

Is Belloq's face melting
◊ on a page somewhere? If not, I'd use it for one of these pages and either the other Nazi's face collapsing or the specter from the Ark on the other.
I checked on the image source page for raiders of the lost ark, i don't think any of those pages have those pictures.

But if an image is considered too scary, that makes it a great Nightmare Fuel image (just what do people expect from a page called "nightmare fuel"?).

The current image is alright but I think there could be some better ones for this page. the current might be better suited for the trope Why Did It Have to Be Snakes? instead. I know that the image of the melting face was pulled for being too frightening to some tropers. Here are my Suggestions.
