For a series about babysitting this one looks quite epic.
I like this, very heartwarming and he girls are cute. Hope it doesn't go all tragedy on us.
Who knows. the LN is actually complete for once, and the original author is doing the writing and series composition for the series.
There is a sequel LN, but its a very different story, I think.
Watch SymphogearOn the other hand, it could end up being like I Am Legend.
It also has the best version of Scarborough Fair since the Simon And Garfunkel version, IMO:

Watch SymphogearThis is pretty alright. Those names, though. I mean, Nygglatho sounds like it belongs to some ancient and forgotten beast still yet lurking in the stygian abyss, not an anime girl
On the music, I prefer this track:
I mean, she is a troll, after all. The actual human-eating kind.
That said, looking at the ED, I'm sure quite a few of those girls are going to die over the course of this show.
It's been fun.I read ahead for the LN
..... My god, This author really must have played Nie R a lot, because the revelations and tragedy really creeps onto you.
Watch SymphogearScarborough Fair. Huh.
According to LN readers, the next episode will have a lot of similarities to the song itself.
Watch SymphogearOh yeah, the names really sound like something out of Lovecraft novel.
I like how the kids behave like real kids. That's nice.
I don't really have any know how on how to launch a work page for the series, but someone should go ahead and do so.
Watch SymphogearSame. Let's get started chronicling the [strike:crushing depression] events that are to come.
It's been fun.I'm glad people are feeling perfectly free to spoil things in this thread (not really). If this keeps up I'm probably going to avoid this place even though this is one of the more interesting shows of the season.
I ain't spoiling anything.
Watch SymphogearHow is that not a hint at what will happen next? I'd say about 66% of your posts on this show are vague hints about what's coming up in the novels. That sort of talk is quite simply spoiling the show for anyone who just wants to find out what happens as it comes up. I don't care to get into a technical argument about what precise level of detail constitutes a spoiler, so I'd rather just step out entirely if you don't tone it down.
Even I don't know what will happen, I only spoiled myself on the biggest twists.
Watch SymphogearThe biggest twists are exactly what I don't want you to be dropping hints on. I can tell the show is going to be depressing just due to the Cold Open in episode one, but that doesn't mean I want someone going 'oh boy, the LN readers say next episode is going to suuuuck!' every week.

It's been fun.Sorry .I just get rather exitable for these series.
I'll just say my thoughts on the episodes then.
Watch SymphogearI launched the page for the series. Edit away, entry pimps.
Watch SymphogearNew episode is out.
That one toddler fairy that fell down the ravine took it like champ, but holy shit, that looked like it fucking hurt. I'd be screaming in agony. Shows how messed up their upbringing is.

Watch SymphogearWell, I expected something like that, but still this is so messed up.
How do they even make the girls lose the will to live anyway? They seem to be perfectly normal, cheerful kids otherwise.
Cthuloko is cute.
I physically winced looking at her, like Jesus christ.

Watch SymphogearThey seem to be suggesting that they're at least partially artificial beings. That plus an ingrained culture of glorious sacrifice should do the job.
What's precedent ever done for us?Yeah, that is a bit odd so far. The girls don't seem to mind pain or the concept of losing their lives, but Ctholly clearly shows that they have the capability to regret the idea of dying. It may be that they don't innately value their own lives, but are capable of learning how to if they're told it's an option.
I'm glad that Nygglatho seems to treat the children just like children, though. I expect that the question of how to treat them will come up over the series.
It's been fun.The other kid was also afraid of being kidnapped.
First episode is out. Summary from Crunchyroll:
"The fleeting and sad story about little girls known as fairy weapons and an associate hero that survived. This is a world after it was attacked by unidentified monsters known as beasts and many of the species in the world, including humans, had been destroyed. The species that had managed to survived left the ground and were living on a floating island called Regal Ele. Willem Kumesh, wakes up above the clouds 500 years later and couldn’t protect the ones who he wanted to protect. Actually, he was living in despair because he was the only survivor."
There's definitely a hint of melancholy throughout the first episode.
...Looks like I need to buy more tissues for whats to come.
