I'm a touch worried that the Mario images are a bit too close to the image on Item Get!, but shines are sufficiently different from the stars that I'm not that concerned.

The current image just has a picture of a star with the words "It is always stars". The caption explains what it means, but it doesn't really illustrate the trope.
A few suggestions:
- Scribblenauts: [1] (fanart)
- Super Mario 64: [2]◊
- Super Mario Galaxy: [3]◊
