If Jane is black, and she lives with an ape-man, she's...Oh God, NO!
I suppose there'll be a conversation on this the same there was with the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I saw the preview. I'm out.
"We be we baby!"yep. this is horrendous.
MIAI'm not so much offended as uninterested. I'm not saying a reimagining cannot be good- I was surprised by how much I liked Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, for example- but so far, I don't see anything new here.

An African-American Jane is fine. Teenagers in the modern era, though...meh. Pass.
Funny that that should call this "Edgar Rice Burroughs" Tarzan and Jane. Reminds me of Frank Miller's Will Eisner's The Spirit which bore only a superficial resemblance to Eisner's creation (prompting the joke that Miller put Eisner's name there cuz otherwise nobody's make the connection).
You're right, that is how the film was marketed, what was on posters and is on the DVD case, but the opening titles of the film call it "Will Eisner's The Spirit." Unless I'm misremembering, which is entirely possible.

But the movie isn't called "Will Eisner's The Spirit"
It's some Netflix show revolving around (obviously enough) Tarzan of the apes and Jane.
From what I found out, it changes some things:
Er, is anyone bothering with this show?
I'm personally not, but my older sister is crazy for it since she's kinda obsessed with anything regarding Tarzan.
