Fire Emblem Heroes

I hate the map with lava in horizontal lines (not the one from 3-5), unless you have a flying unit, you can just hope to bait the enemy the right way.

My hate for the one with the vertical mountain range right in the middle will be severely lessened with the update that allows to change unit placement. That way I don't need to spend the first few turns evading attacks while units go up/down the map

I hate the 9-5 map: the one with the grid of impassable pillars.

I also dislike the sewer/waterway map with the alternating grid of water pits but those can be circumvented by flying at least.

My favorite map is the one with the two mountain ranges on the east and west, and the enemy is just charging down the middle. It feels like an ambush except I'm the one doing it.

Holy crap! You know how I was complaining I spent 100 orbs chasing Ninian and got no 5*s? Well, since the paralogue came early I used it to earn 5 orbs for one last summon and it was her! It was Ninian!

All Spring units have weapons that heal them for 4 HP after initiating a fight.

Lucina has variant of darting blow that gives 4Atk/4Spd.

So I finished all the missions, and yes there indeed is an excuse plot. Apparently they celebrate Easter Spring Festival in Ylisse and Sharena wants to Kill Em All...

The highlight for me: Xander damning Lucina's painted egg by faint praise. And he also wants to brandish his carrot in battle.

Fffffffff! Linde's -Atk, +Res and Cordelia's -Atk, +Spd. WTF, IS!

No idea on Spring Chrom, but he's got a boatload of Spd, so I'm gonna guess +Spd, -Def. I'll have to wait for more data to come in, though.

EDIT: Nino is also -Atk, as is one of the M!Robins (the other is -Def). The Reins are a mishmash of mediocrity. Catria is -Spd. The Cecilias ran off with all my +Atk. Man, hope really is just the first step to disappointment.

Rolled two Spring Chroms.

One's -ATK +RES, the other's -SPD +RES

My Robins are both minus attack, though one is up defense and the other is up HP. If I can suffer through that to turn him into a machine of murder, you can do it too.

The one I've been using is -Spd, which is even worse than -Atk. But it's not worth spending 20k+ feathers for a marginal improvement. Problem is, all of those boon/banes make them almost liabilities at the level of Arena I'm playing (which isn't even the highest of tiers). Against many common builds/teams and/or merges (especially the +10s I've been running into lately), they're just going to fail to hit the benchmarks or barely make them with significant shenanigans. That's an awful lot of investment to ask for what's little more than a side-grade to the shit show I already have to put up with.

Rolled 80+ orbs on my alt and only have a 5* Odin and 5* Jakob to show for it... good thing it's my alt.

edit: Ooh, also a -HP +Attack 4* Nowi, not bad. This account still has no good greens despite me rolling a lot of greens today, it'll have to make do with trash like 4* Barst.

Heh, 100 orbs, and no 5*. Just before I reached 5.5% after failing to get a 5 star for 55 summons in a row before landing one. So in the last 85 summons, I got exactly one 5*. With a rolling gacha mechanism.

At least I got some new 4*, Cain and Klein - still no Tharja though, the one I was looking for.

Lucina looks broken as hell.

Wiki's moving fast. Spring stats are up and looks like I was right: Chrom's +Spd, -Def. Which means mine's gonna have 38 Spd and 25 Def at 40. Very weird compared to his swordy form.

Level 20 Ursula kills Level 40 generic swordsman... gains 300 exp or 50% of a levelup.

Still debating with myself weather I want to summon or not. But I certainly won't with just 40 orbs, so I will be waiting to see if they will give us a ton of orbs for free again or not. I am not summoning with anything less than 80 orbs, I don't think.

PS: Looking at the next few banners, I think I will summon after all. Aside from Cherche I don't particularly care for any of these guys. Maybe Palla and Caeda for their flying swords but by that logic I would rather have a flying tome.

Ended up with 5* Spring Lucina an a 5* Hector from my pulls, very nice.

So, in a reddit discussion about the fanservice designs, I've been thinking about Camilla. I've come to the conclusion that her new outfit is something of an upgrade over her regular clothes. Sure, it looks silly and it is very revealing, but so is her usual "armor". The advantage is the bunny costume actually make sense contextually. It is a ridiculous outfit for a silly event, it makes some sense. Contrast with whatever passes for "armor" in the Fate's universe.

What I am saying is, I get people who don't like the event or the designs, I am not a fan either. But don't complain about Camilla. Of all characters, she was the one who came up ahead.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. Her bunny costume is significantly less nonsensical than her armor.

Made two batches of summons, did decent. Got two 4*s, Nowi(again) and Klein(who is -spd...), another -Atk Cherche, another M!Robin, a bunch of SI 3*s, and Bunny Chrom.

Axe Experience seems nice while leveling, but will need to be replaced eventually with something that's not useless at level 40.

Xander's live for honor is pretty garbage too, I have tons of talismans I don't use. But i guess a richer person with lots of feathers might grind a bit less..? Xander looks decent though, as much as I'd like to have someone else borrow his carrot...

Well, technically you can use it to help to level up other axe users. But, yeah.

Did one more pull, took two attempts to get a decent board(ended up with a 4* Oboro and Lon'qu) but got Spring Camilla. -Atk, +Def so it could be better but I'll take it. Live for Bounty will be way more useful than Axe experience as well.

Also got another Palla so I have an extra flier buff to make use of.

Got Spring Xander! The only other good roll I had was a 4 Star F!Corrin. I might roll another 20 orbs since I definitely need more unit variety.

My Spring Xander is also +Atk, -Spd... yay...
