I like Teddie, but I do agree that Morgana is better than him in many ways. I find his search for identity much better covered than Teddie's, with whom it only presents itself when the story calls for it, whereas Morgana has recurring nightmares about being a Shadow throughout the game.

Ryuji and Morgana together are hilarious. It's boring when everybody gets along 100% of the time and considering how immature both are it's natural they'd bicker.

and Ryuji is great. Dude's an idiot(he screams about being phantom thieves in broad daylight) but he's really entertaining and has some really funny lines(Joker gets some funny replies to him too). His VA among the best performed too, and he's just such a bro.

Futaba is okay but her battle lines are a bit meh in comparison. I appreciate the change of pace but Morgana's support lines just have much more charm since he's had more time with cast and shows his relationship more. Not gonna lie, I like Morgana more overall so far and feel bad she's kind of stealing his limelight(though admittedly he's being slightly petty about things).

Yusuke's still my least favorite atm. Some of his interactions are kind of funny since he's so dramatic but he's too "anime" compared to some of the other cast and feels more like a character than an actual person, if that makes sense.

Ann is the most likable girl so far with Makoto having the best development. Futaba is funny but she hasn't been around long enough for me to be totally on her just yet. I bet there's a healthy amount of "fat" ann fanart out there lol. She loves to eat sweets haha.

Also some of Joker's dialogue choices are gold. "What's the statue of king Kamehameha holding in its right hand?"

And Teddy isn't THAT bad. He's annoying but entertaining and interesting still, which can't be said about say Ken or Yukari, whom are worse by virtue of being boring. Even better than Koromaru who is just a dog. A badass dog sure, but just a dog.

So far I'm actually liking this cast a lot, moreso than 3 or 4. But that could be partially due to me experiencing 3/4'scast outside their original games first. Also Q2 will likely flanderize the hell out of p5 cast to where every sentence will have Ryuji saying "shit" and ann constantly talking about sweets.

Yet it is true. Studies showed that people who grew up in the era of monochrome films and TV reported that they usually dream in monochrome. The caveat to that is that people who didn't grow up watching films or TV dreamt in colour, so it's not that humanity universally dreamed in monochrome, it's that the media of the day influenced how people interpreted their dreams.

I get media influences how people dream(I've had more Tv tropes dreams than I'd like to admit) but the way the question was framed made it seem people didn't dream in color when it's more like people who grew up on black n white media dreamed in black and white...though honestly wouldn't that data only affect certain generations of people? Before TV/movies were invented at all that wouldn't have been the case, would it?

OMG Haru is adorable. Her AOA splash is incredible too. Great persona and costume as well.

Ryuji is pretty dumb, even he acknowledges it. Also, he gets singled out because he not only does it multiple times (Ann got recorded too, however she apologizes as soon as she finds out and didn't slip up again iirc) he openly and repeatedly states he wants P Ts to reveal themselves. What saves Ryuji in most people eyes , mine included, is that he doesn't have ill intentions and his feelings are understandable.

Talking in public isn't an issue unless you're doing something to deliberately draw attention to yourself and being overheard is less of a problem since most people won't pay mind to a bunch of teenagers.

The enemies in this palace are much easier than futaba's. Helps that Haru is tailor made for a majority of them. The employees are pretty troublesome though.

I did a public execution and got Anubis, who is somewhat useful as he has no weaknesses and immunity to curse and light. I need to get some actually damaging spells on him though.

Ryuji's issue is more that he's LOUD. His tendency to overreact and YELL makes his moments of stupid stand out more, I think.

If he'd roomed with Yu everyone would constantly have to stop him from trying to eat garbage.

Tower's a major "shit's fucked" card, yeah, but that doesn't mean the Tower confidant is going to fuck your shit. The cigar-chomping monk from 3 was a cool dude. Okay, the kid you tutored in 4 turned out to be the serial killer behind everything, but they're not gonna do a twist like that two games in a row. (We don't still need to spoiler that completely true and not bullshit reveal, right?)

The kid Yu tutors is not the killer, it's actually Adachi.

Beat the 5th palace. I died once on the boss, he was the hardest one so far. And Futaba helped less than she helped since she would waste precious seconds with her interventions.

If two of the big goons use their sacrifice attack same turn, it's pretty much game over. This is easily the trickiest fight up till this point. overall I enjoyed the palace, the last bit post calling card was the toughest palace stuff yet. It took me a while to figure out the door puzzle

I ended up getting ann and ryuji's confidants to 10, so now they have their ultimate personas, which look pretty cool, though I sort of prefer Carmen over Hecate. I romanced ann, though I feel sort of bad since I've been leading Makoto on more. But Makoto's progression hit a pause due to the double date requirement.

Also Joker's reponses choices continues to be gold: his default expression on the dialogue image makes it that much funnier.

I think the trick with the exploding goons is that you need to have built a good analysis deck earlier, so you know what weaknesses they have, and can one-round them all. Even if you can't get an all-out attack due to the shadow counting as in battle (even though he's untargetable), you can hit them twice in a row on their weakness, leaving them able open to death from the scratch damage of resisted attacks.

If you don't know the elemental weaknesses, then you have to memorise it from each attempt. Which isn't fun.

I also personally think that you should have aimed to max out Hifumi's S-link by this fight, since being able to swap in and out on other people's turns will help with that early phase.

Weird question, but what's your favorite chat portrait? Like the little portraits the characters have in the chat? I like Makoto's the most, she looks kind of deep on it. Ryuji's is the ugliest lol, doesn't help you see it ALL the time. Ann's is cute too.

Technically, the confidants shouldn't have palaces. A palace is created by distorted desires and possessing power, to the point that they see somewhere as their own domain. The thing about the confidants is that they're outcasts like the P5tagonist, so I'd doubt they'd have them.

The music is still really cool, though.
