In This Wiki's terminology, Aoba's art is more The Ingenue.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI don't know why in multiple message boards there's a mistaken belief that Momo and Naru are college students, when they've already stated in this and last episode that they are in a vocational school...
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaAt least in Canada, vocational schools are usually named colleges, while what Americans call colleges/universities interchangeably are universities.

Yeah here they are called vocational colleges or trade schools.
Any educational institution that doesn't provide a full four or five year course, and instead caters to short-term courses (meaning two years or less) will be a vocational school, at least in my country.
From just our three responses, it's quite clear that the distinction is not worth having an argument about. We all understand what sort of institution they're studying at, and translated it internally to what we would ordinarily call it.
The awkward silence at the character team table at the welcoming party made me realize that half of the character team are socially awkward...
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaDislikes awkward silences...
It could've been more dramatic...

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaBefore anyone disses Narumi for not knowing the real reason why Umiko got Nene hired, please bear in mind the fact that Narumi is not omniscient. No one in-universe is. What one character or the viewer knows may not be known by another character.
EDIT: I've just been seeing so much Narumi hate to that effect. Yes, she's being a jerk. No, she's not justified in being an ass. But her arriving at an erroneous conclusion due to not knowing something she's had absolutely no way of knowing at this point in time is not a reason to hate her.

Give the God Eater game thread some love! That could apply to a lot of characters...
Doesn't stop the dislike...
That said, she did get aggressive real quick...not even transitioning between passive-aggressive.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.All the Naru aside (haven't watched/ read there yet), you all like "old" Hajime or current Hajime better?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaWell, justifications aside, it makes it look like the newbies want to start shit with their coworkers. They assume the worst about people and get defensive when stuff about their jobs are not as they expected.
I myself prefer the longer-haired version, but some folks like the current hairstyle that Hajime's sporting. As for all the fuss about Tsubame, people are jumping to conclusions a bit fast. I'll decide on whether or not she's a good character once the second season has concluded.
The only resource you need for tropesI would say it's not unfair for a person in Tsubame's position to suspect if Nene was Umiko's sexual partner.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaThere is absolutely no reason to suspect sexual relations. Why are we going there?

Give the God Eater game thread some love!I'm curious to hear the reasoning behind that, myself. There have been no indicators whatsoever to even remotely suggest this.
The only resource you need for tropesBoy the end of this episode made it sound like Kou was going to quit.
"I thought if one case worked, so would the rest, and didn't test them." Huh?
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaClassic newbie error, but one that is easily remedied with experience and instruction. Next.
The only resource you need for tropesThat seems like a basic error...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Yeah, that's so fundamental that she only got away with it because anime.
As said, tends to get beaten out of every programmer, pro or not, from experience.

My reaction was one of "that was too newbie of a mistake for me to take when I was at Tsubame's age." But then what I was programming—high-school computer-science projects—was probably far easier than anyone in that cubicle.
I'm not a video game person, but would you call Peco a platformer?

An apt comparison between Kou's usual charactersand Aoba's is Aoba's are far more chibi and more in the Puni Plush style while Kou's is more straight forward anime game style not too different from The Legend Of Heroes Trails Of Cold Steel's characters and 3D models.
