The current image on Nature Spirit looks more like a group of Pokémon than anything else. How about we use a picture of the Green Man 1, 2

Or possibly a Warhammer Dryad 3

Current is fine (if weak) while all of the suggestions look ugly to me.

How about a Dungeons & Dragons Dyrad? 1, 2

I don't find the OP argument convincing or relevant to illustrating the trope. Current is perfectly fine.

I don't have a problem with the current.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I think the suggestions are better than the current, especially 1.1.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"

The current and all suggestions are illustrative. Unfortunately, they are also all ugly. All suggestions seem lateral so far, so I support no change unless someone suggests something aesthetically interesting.

Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.

How about that dryad or whatever from Fantasia 2000?

[up]That is very good.

I will admit that I didn't make a great argument when in the opening so let me try again.

The current picture seems a little low quality to me with the blurry background. In addition to this the 'spirits' in question are somewhat small so that it is difficult to see what connects some of them to nature, with one looking like a merfolk and a few seeming to be more along the lines of elementals than Nature Spirits.

4.2 or 10 are best for me. Not crazy about the current.

Found some cool figures from the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Sylvaneth line that might work: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

I dunno, they remind me more of When Trees Attack than Nature Spirit.

"Their bark may be as bad as than their bite"...although the concept might be better for When Trees Attack.
