"Hm...I suppose I could go with Kit. Shame, I was hoping to get a read on the equipment."
She waits a couple seconds for someone else in the room to respond with some rebuttal that says she can stay, but considering the heat, it'd be a wonder if anyone wanted to go out in her place.
Erika nodded at Joanna and Kit. "I wouldn't mind going out on such a nice day, except... I would most definitely arouse attention of other people, and I quite honestly... don't want that." She simply answers. "...besides, maybe a little look at what we got might help us narrow down where to go."
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by Edveed"You know, we probably should check the equipment before we go out looking for movies." Kit points out. "It would be a waste of money to buy a DVD or Blu-Ray only to find out we need an actual reel of film. And I'm not sure how we'd even go about getting one of those."

"Do what now?", Nina cursed under her breath as she stared at the book. The figurine on her hand had stopped moving since for a few minutes now. "That... no... no that also doesn't work...."
Ada, still "browsing," clears her throat. "If all we have is older hardware, I imagine Stiltsworth would have stuff that runs on it somewhere..."
"Doki Doki Lit. Club" is a happy game where nothing bad happens. seriously tho? not for the faint of heart.Erika takes note of that detail the equipment may be old, nodding. "Would indeed be a shame if the technology would not be able to work with each other. So, I guess without any more hesitation, we might want to check now." She suggested, prepared to get moving again.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedDaydre looks up at the sky. "Oh, yeah."
"Do you want to come with us?" He asks Aqua.
off the shits"Oh," Aquarius responded. "Dang, I was hoping to get some training done before lunch—"
His stomach growled, showing how hungry he was.
"Dang it," he said not long after. "I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to practice on an empty stomach either..."
"Alrighty!", said Mikaela, jumping a bit, "We're running a bit low on food inside, so we could either go out somewhere, or go buy some groceries to make something here."
"I don't think I've ever eaten in town before..." Daydre muses, half to himself.
off the shits"I've been out a couple of times", she explains, "As I've said, I love food, and am not too fond of eating home all the time. Plus, I need to go out to seek bounties to keep that income steady."
"Yea, we can...head out later."
Well, drat. On the one side, she knew what they were going to be dealing with beforehand — no grievances on that end — but on the other hand, that might a) waste more time, and b) involve her more with this little event she's planning. She was never really able to shift the blame, so to say, onto someone else for coming up with the idea, so the next best thing was to try and involve herself with it as little as possible.
She could stay and help see what equipment they were dealing with, but she might have to find some way to skip out on going to town. Kit was up for heading out, but perhaps someone else would have been game to go with her in Joanna's place? Ada knew of another store should their equipment be too old for DVDs or whatever she was implying; maybe she could go?
After that "little" bout of thought, she decides to start moving alongside Erika, making sure not to step on her tail. "You heading up to check the theatre room? I'm willing to bet there's some kinda projector in there, y'know 'cuz of the name, but we'll have to see how recent the thing is."

Erika nodded at Joanna as she slithered onward. "Well, we'll never know what we have until we get there, right?" She responds, allowing Joanna to take the lead. "...thinking on it, what would be the ideal... equipment?" She asks, wondering of the responses.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by EdveedJoanna approaches the door, stops, and turns around, holding onto the doorframe.
"Me? Ideally, what we want is a digital projector, a DVD player, and enough cables and wiring to hook all of it up without a hitch."
But considering the...timelessness of this mansion, realistically, the best she's gonna get is maybe some old beat-up projector that, assuming there's a VHS shop in town, they could maybe improvise with if they get lucky. Either way, she's expecting some setup."
"Eating out would be nice," Aquarius responded, somewhat shyly. "Though, um, what's available in town? Sorry, just kind of a picky eater..."
"Well, we need to get groceries anyway, so maybe we should go to the grocery store and get something to make lunch with too."
Erika looked at Joanna in a baffled manner. "Wouldn't more wires mean more... confusion?" She asked, unsure on why having plenty of wires would simplify things as she continued onward.
"If you have any beefs with Santa, do remember to SETTLE IT IN SMASH!" Quote by Edveed"Well, I mean, having the right kind of wires. Probably should've phrased that better."
Joanna goes out into the main hall and towards the stairwell.
Kit follows behind the other two girls. They may not initially notice her movement, as her footsteps are completely silent. "Do you know how to put together a set up like that, Joanna? Programming I can handle, but hardware, not so much. I had to get Geek Squad to set up my Blu-Ray player back home."
True story.
Eisen was playing some game on her Android in the ground floor living room while sitting on the couch, when she heard mention of electronic devices. DV Ds, digital projector, wiring.
Stuff that she could "communicate" with. The Chinese lady perked up and put away her Android in her pocket.
"I can help with testing the electronics. I wouldn't mind going out with you guys." She smiled as she got up and briskly walked towards the group.
...eheh"Oh, wow, that's...pretty bad. Usually, they'd have some manual for that."
Hearing faint, brisk footsteps, she turns her head towards the source of the noise, vocalizing a curious "Hm?"
Eisen sees Joanna turn around, and addresses her "question", nodding. "Heya. I'd love to help out with finding the electronics you require."
...eheh"That sounds like a good idea."

Emily wipes the sweat from her brow, an satisfied grin on her face. Holding up a blueprint, she exclaims, Well, it's about damn time. Now I just need the materials. Placing it down, Emily pulls out a notebook. Grabbing a pencil, she writes down a list of materials. Placing down the pencil, Emily rips out the page.
Now then.....
Emily places the page in her back pocket. Moving to the stairs, she begins to ascend them.
The measure of a man is not his courage, but rather the size of his gun.
"Well..." Kit looks around nervously. "I guess I could go into town to look for the movie. If I dress appropriately, I shouldn't draw too much attention."
