Previous thread, which was locked for inactivity.
The current image of a Baby Planet is misleading, as it is an example mentioned in the description as a technical exception to the trope, but one that runs by its own rules. This is when planets are treated like towns/cities in Space Opera because Sci-Fi Writers Have No Sense of Scale and of course, Space Is an Ocean. I think the concept is so difficult to picture that it's a BUPKIS candidate, in fact.
