Because we do not need people confusing this with Canis Major.

I'm with Memers, Canis Major is a distinct trope and we don't need to confuse them.

I'll go with either 1.2 or 6.

Whoops, didn't know we already had that trope and image too!

(But can we change the quote? I don't see what it has to do with the book. Ah well, as long as it's age-appropriate, I'm fine.)

That is Canis Major, we really don't want confusion between the two.
