Does Not Illustrate: Soap Within A Show

The image is the same one that got pulled from Addictive Foreign Soap Opera, as per this thread. I can't seem to find any replacements at the moment.

Is there a shot of the characters actually watching the show?

The image didn't work when it was in Addictive Foreign Soap Opera and it doesn't work here. Maybe the current image in Show Within a Show could work better here since All My Circuits is a soap opera.

If that's the case, then I'd be fine with moving it to this trope.

IIRC there's scenes in The Simpsons of Bart and Lisa watching The Itchy and Scratchy Show...if we can get one of those, that would be a good replacement for Show Within a Show.

Doing a GIS for "Show within a show" yields this multi-example from Arthur.

It looks like it was shot with a potato. Except most of the bottom left one.

If you can crop out the bottom-left image, that one could work.

Just to be clear on the subject: we have Show Within a Show as a general trope. Here we are looking for a soap character watching a soap that portrays (or even overplays) cliches within the soap genre. Like a character from The Couch watching The Couch.

No, just any character watching a soap Show Within a Show, which tend to be a complete parody/exaggeration of soap operas. The one currently on Show Within a Show appears to be an example of that already, so we're looking for something to possibly replace that.

The pic showing the title screen of "All My Circuits" is not saying much for those not familiar with Futurama, hence non-descriptive.

I certainly think we can do better, but I don't agree that it's non-illustrative. I don't watch Futurama, but it looks like a soap parody with robots to me.

I agree that the image on Show Within a Show should be moved to Soap Within a Show, and one of the other suggestions to Show Within a Show.

I like the Krusty the Clown suggestion.
