She's competent at manipulation. She's less competent at execution and considering consequences.
Check out my fanfiction!Huh, so Mizuzu is nicer when she is depressed .-.
I think Carol has created something that will lead to major character revelations
Also Jun as a tree lol
Carol is basically Misuzu's natural counter, honestly. Misuzu isn't as good at manipulation as she sometimes thinks she is, and Carol's basically an agent of chaos who decides whether she's for or against Misuzu's scheme, and for what reason, based on how she feels at the moment.
Currently I get the feeling she's trying to force Misuzu to admit that she's attracted to Tomo and that's why she's jealous of Jun, but who knows if Misuzu will twig on before the inevitable staged kiss?
It's been fun.But that would require Mizu to be actually perceptive and clever. Can't have that.
Check out my fanfiction! You say this in a series where the confession happened in strip #1 and they're still trying to figure out whether they like each other in #781? =P
It's been fun.Misuzu's stupid surprise face is great
You know, considering how much crap the universe throws at her, it's no wonder she's so grumpy. And now she's going to be extra happy. She gets to play against the one she loves, after all. Isn't it wonderful?
Check out my fanfiction! That's a perfect WTF face.
Correct me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but I do believe there's a slight hint that Mizu might not be entirely happy about that casting.
Check out my fanfiction!Okay, why I didn't see it coming that Carol is the step mother in the play?
Because she is the only one who can talk down on Cinderella?
Check out my fanfiction! The greatest betrayal
Cotton Candy got NTR'ed by a heater.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSo things have been rather hilarious lately huh. I wonder if this manga is close to end?
Well, Jun has finally started to overcome his own hesitation about his feelings for Tomo. The last obstacle is Tomo herself who realized she isn't quite as ready to talk about their relationship as she thought.
Disgusted, but not surprisedAs we near the end...
Of course this is what Jun wants.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Well I wasn't exactly expecting an anime announcement ever, but hey. This account 's apparently a very accurate leaker so it should be legit? Who's ready for tomboy shenanigans?

Secret SignatureReminds me that I never actually finished this series.
It's been fun.The ending is viewed rather poorly. I didn't mind it, but I find it reads better as a binge.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Reviving this thread because the anime is airing right now.
Above anything else, I find it absolutely incredible that Carol's voice actress is voicing both Japanese and English dub. That's the first time I'm ever hearing of such case!
Speaking of which, I love everyone's voice both in JAP and ENG sub...except Tomo. I personally can't stand it, even though I'm fully aware that it's probably the point to some degree.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I've watched the first couple episodes of the dub, and I'm enjoying it so far. I swear Tomo sounds familiar, but looking up the actresses' name didn't ring a bell, so I can't be sure.
I guess if I have one complaint, its that I feel like I can already see where Misuzu's arc is probably gonna go. She's gonna keep messing with Tomo and Jun until it causes an actual problem, where she'll realize she's gone too far. But predictable stories can still be fun as long as they're executed well.
Also, Carol is hilarious.
Although for that matter, so is Toma, in her own way.
I recommend you keep watching, since I found this to be one of the most enjoyable animes this season. About Mizusu, while this series isn't terribly complex, there is more depth to the characters that what you may see at first, which makes the whole thing a bit better.
I wouldn't be following this manga if I weren't at least invested in the plot, and I'm capable of noticing what's the focus and accepting character flaws. However, this discussion started because I attempted to dispel the notion that Misuzu was in any way competent in manipulation, when really it barely even works on Jun and Tomo, the people she knows inside out, and they are, as you say, dumb kids.
