Regarding the magic lock, I would say that's more for hideously dangerous people or those who don't technically need it. After all, there would be pure magic beings and those heavily shaped by it. Though I do imagine there ends up being smuggling anyways, and a fair deal of magical fear in Earthland to justify the need to.

Soooo...we starting this thing or what?

I'll admit, the starting announcement was premature. However I've worked out what I'll do for the Opening Post, so now I just need to write it. However whilst all this time passed, I've been making Playing With pages (the list on my Troper page was honestly made for my own remembering however), and maybe even identified seven unnamed tropes.

Anywho, this probably will start in a few days. I'll only address the Storybooks a player is in, so everyone's starting Storybook finalized?

Mine's in Earthland. Just confirming that before we get underway.

As long as there's delicious food in that Storybook, and not just "robot food" (like oil, gears and stuff like that), any world should be fine.

Well, since we're supposed to finalize our plans for the start of RP ... @UndyingPhoenix, could you share your plans about how Thule and Fawnia will be starting out with me, so that we can figure out a way to have Lumina meet them right at the start?

Anyone else starting in Earthland, PM me and/or each other so we can work out where our characters are starting. I'd like us to all start in at least the same metropolitan area, and if that's not the Bay Area, which my character is pretty closely tied to, then I need to make sure he's wherever we collectively decide to be.

My dude will start in Earthland coming out of a TV in a mall and dreaming out. Then he will maybe acquire a sword and some guns and a chainsaw and other weapons.

Yeah, that sounds like something that would happen in Oakland.

Also, this is totally unrelated, but does your title refer to THE Mike Jones? The one who used his name and phone number as catchphrases?

Well, Fawnia and Thule will probably be rushing around, getting ready to head to another Storybook. Maybe they might bump into Lumina? Fawnia is friendly enough and will probably tell her what the rush is for.

Sounds good to me! I can't help feeling that Lumina and Fawnia will get on greatly once they learn of each other's past, which granted, might take a while before they comfortable enough with each other to do it, naturally.

And I can just picture Thule just rolling his eyes.

Aicha + Ulysses likely will start out in the Citadel at Griffin's + Parkers shop, already PM'd a bit with him about this.

Parker and Griffin will obviously start in the shop at the Citadel.

Did you guys discuss anything further about our starting scene or is Sergey merely refering to the messages from earlier? And if it is the former, could you maybe share it with me as well, so we can all be on the same page?

Ok then. Still thinking about what exactly Aster is supposed to be doing at the shop. The stuff there seems too valuable to be bought to be used as materials and such. Gonna have to give this some thought.

So I finally made the Opening Post, and ultimately decided to let you guys have pretty unrestricted creative potential. So describe the areas around you and whatnot, this story isn't about my plans.

Alright, I'm posting my first post. I don't think I focused too much on the description of the area like you asked, but I'll try and rectify that a little with future posts.

So, does anyone want to interact with V and his character Maggie? This is far too early for me to get involved running storylines.

@V I already had Aster start heading towards his home, so you can have Maggie appear near it, so that we can start their interaction.
