Agreed. Move the current to the comics page, I like 1.2 for the franchise. No ideas for the animated one.

The animated version got a picture added by another troper since I started the thread . It's a satisfying one, although quality could be better.

Yeah, when I first looked for a picture after splitting the franchise page, I searched with Google but didn't add any since they were all about the same quality.

Now that I've looked at everything in the OP, I do like 1.2 for the franchise page...I want to say that 1.1 is being used somewhere else but I could be wrong, that's my only objection to it.

Yeah, 275 px would be a good size.
Here's a 275-pixel-width version. I would have liked to upload a PNG instead of a JPEG for better quality, but the PNG is still above 300 Kb.

Use the link in my sig; resize the original pic as needed, then save it as a JPG, High quality, max size 200KB.
I tried it, but there's no real improvement for the quality of the picture to the naked eye.

Okay, I know I started a thread a while ago for this very same page, because of the poor quality of the picture, and we settled on the current. However, at the time this Franchise page was not yet split between the different works it contained. Now it does (incidentally fitting with the 3-work-minimum rule for deserving the Franchise/ namespace).
Thus, the current picture would be more fitting for the new ComicBook.Marsupilami, and I suggest we move it there.
The Franchise page would work well with just a drawing of the Marsupilami himself, preferably by Franquin. For example [1]
