Yeah, Happiness in slavery sounds like the only way to go without going too grimdark.

Im not sure sure on how to go about the lover died part without derailing the whole silly part Nodrog is going for. What I'm going for is that the lover died during her vigilante work and just keep that past tightly shut in her mind and never talk about it to anyone since she thought that no one cares about the slave's misery.

Seems good, though from what I read on the website you should't be too concerned about derailing that, this game is quite the mix of lighthearted and grimdark things (the focus is on the former, but there's certainly enough fo the latter) so I guess a bit is okay as long as we don't be all Wangsty about it.

Edit: Just FYI a few traits: Whip scars (which is exactly what it sounds like), Stalker Damage (which basically says in the description that you got stalked so hard that you are deeply psychologically scarred forever), (Former) Killer, Killed your Parents, Suicide Attempts, Abusive Parents, Addict, the list goes on.

Yeah, there are quite a few grimdark things in there, no worries, and I think there are enough 'silly' shows out there not afraid to touch darker matters, its just that the lighthearted things are just so much more there.

Yeah, sometimes the generator gets confused and gives a Quality the wrong description. Had it happen to me while I was rolling as well.

I think i'll probably start the rp tomorrow or Friday. A little angst or grit is fine, since it could fuel things like scenes where you're hunting your loved one's killer or being comforted by your incredibly níave sister.

So with risk of being silly. There's a bunch of interconnected almost normal people, and a vampire priestess. This seems...odder then expected.

There are way (like waaay) weirder setups for Maids here, I'm surprised that its not as odd as I expected, we've got no aliens, werewolves, necromancers, zombies/mummies (one trait for both) or combinations of the above.

I'm a little hesitant to give my skype name, which RP's are we talking about? if its pretty much all then I might join.
