Once, I got hit in the arm with something that at first I confused as a PETARD. The whistle of the damm thing awakened me from my daydreaming and when I saw the thing I got scared, and then, the damm thing hit my arm. Luckily, the thing wasn't an explosive (I dunno what the heck was) and besides from the pain of the moment, everything was OK. Still, imagine for a moment that some class of petard flies towards you.
Almost getting murdered by another kid, with the teachers aware and doing nothing about the situation.
...And that's why I spent most of my childhood being homeschooled instead.
If you are not very careful, your possessions will posses youOne time in school, I had to actually do schoolwork.
That terrified me.
I work in schools and I'll tell you the reason. It's because the custodian's having a bad day, the principal wants to make you squirm, the teachers are bored and the weather is conspiring with us. :D
In actuality, they're supposed to happen at sorta pre-set intervals but the weather doesn't always comply.
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."I have such a strong urge to make "2spooky4me" jokes, but I can't remember any incidents at school involving skeletons.
Uh... my art teacher had a prop skeleton. Spoopy.
I should probably get back to playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion someday, but I keep getting distracted. :PIt seems a bit coincidental that they always take place in bad weather.
Pinkie Pie and flugelhorns are a bad combination.^ Well it helps you get ready for the real thing. The school catching fire is not always going to happen on a sunny springlike day. Sometimes it'll happen in a blizzard or a heat wave or pouring rain (beware of tornadoes!) or what have you. And because of the need to happen at pre-set intervals, you can't just postpone a drill just because the weather is less than ideal without a good reason. (Such as dangerously unsafe cold or lightning nearby.)
"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."A few suicides, fights with people I know getting involved, one of them nearly stabbed in front of me, and a threat from one student to shoot up graduation.
Thankfully, the cops caught him.

When I was in 10th grade, one of my teachers died suddenly only a couple of days into the year.
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSTwo boys got into a fight over something really petty during an assembly. Said boys were seated pretty close to me, and they fell down the bleachers (about 4-5 rows down to the floor) during the fight. It was broken up pretty quickly but JEEZ was that necessary? Scared me half to death. Luckily one of the boys got suspended for 10 days.
There's also the time an ambulance was called and I saw a stretcher go down the hallway. Turns out a girl passed out after stressing out about some boy taking her phone and hiding it.
Life is hard, that's why no one survives.12/14/12 tops the list by an unbearably large margin. I lived less than five miles away from Sandy Hook. I was sitting in physics class when there was an announcement over the intercom. My school went into lockdown. Everyone had phones, so the news spread within seconds. Everyone sat there in the dark, terrified out of their minds. My teacher was kept whispering, "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD" to herself. Half the class was crying. There were people who knew people who went to that school who were having nervous breakdowns. I have never been nearly as horrified in my entire life. Lines for the counseling center went out the door for the rest of the year.
This is kinda petty compared to what other people have wrote, but I was walking to class one time, when all the lights in the hallway went out. I can't remember why, it was a while ago.
But the thing is, I'm not usually scared of the dark. It just seems more sinister in a big building than it does at home.
