I had to look at it a bit to figure out what was going on, but it works well enough pending other options.
The OP is great. Obviously an "accidental" type death with is not accidental.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanNot a fan. It relies on a caption/trope context.

I don't watch that show regularly and no caption has been suggested yet, but I got it.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. What's the missing context? Holding someone in front of a bus rather than just shooting them looks like making it look like an accident to me.

As someone that doesn't watch South Park, it looks like they're holding out someone to be mauled by a bus.
Doesn't quite work for me.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report^ They're pretty clearly throwing him (notice the guy on the left holding nothing and Cartman's arc of motion), so I don't see that.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I don't have a problem with it.
(Annoyed grunt)The bus driver is seeing what's going on and the viewer is seeing what's going on. Who is being tricked?
The driver is clearly oblivious and how the hell are we going to have an image if the audience knowing will negate it?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?It looks like to me that they are just trying to kill the fat boy.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I understand the South Park image, and I absolutely refuse to watch the show. It has my tentative support until someone suggests something at least equally clear that isn't hideously ugly.

That just looks like a demonstration of "throwing someone under the bus".
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Aye, that particular imagery is strongly idiomatic.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgreed.
It would do well on Literal Metaphor, but that page already has an image.
Clock is set.
The clock is up and I'm not seeing enough consensus for either suggestion to go with them. Locking up.
Opening suggestion: Cartman being thrown under the bus in South Park.
