Excited. Made a page for it. Go on and improve upon it, because I'm bad at making pages.

So..
Has any other forum person played this yet? I personally really liked it (as you can tell by my current avatar); great atmosphere and story, in addition to interesting and natural characters and dialogue.
It took me a while to like the ending, but the more I think about it the more it works.

I haven't played it, but I plan on buying it when I get a chance. I watched Geek Remix play it on You Tube and I loved it.
I'm curious if they'll make more games in a similar style since its so simple, but I love how it looks.
Looks rather interesting to me, but I hope there's a mute button or something for that one character note from what I've seen from the demos.

Well, according to the tropes page, it's entirely possible to play the whole game without saying anything. Heck, you even get an Achievement for it.
By the way, can any of you guys see this game appearing on Wii U eventually?
Talking about Ren? I like him. Yeah he can be an obonxious bastard, but I just didn't take him ramblings seriously.
The dynamic of Alex and Jonas was just great, and I love that the most intimate personal relationship that was explored in the game was her relationship to her brothers. (My lil' bro is my best friend so I saw a little bit of us reflected in the game.)
Can't imagine how odd it must have been for them to meet. Alex loses a brother a year ago, then gets a new one out of the blue. I wonder if Jonas ever felt like he was intruding, wondering if Alex saw him as an unwanted replacement. I wonder if Alex ever felt guilty about getting along with Jonas, as if she was betraying her brother in some way. There's a lot of great storytelling potential there.
Hey, I've moved to a new account! I go by Silver Glyph now.Haven't played it myself but I watched Geek Remix's playthrough. It's pretty nice though I wonder what all the different endings entail since there are five of them.
Keep in mind Alex literally met him the day they went to Edwards Island. Everything you said is true, but they just met.
Considering it's likely that in truth (ending spoilers) Alex never made it off the island, I can't imagine how that would damage the family. Losing a child is what split apart Alex's parents; her mom probably couldn't handle losing another. Jonas also convinced her to open up the rift in the first place.

I personally interpreted it as we the PLAYER being caught in the time rift of replaying the game over and over again because that's how the intended audience plays these games; starting over again to play all of the endings.
That's a significantly happier interpretation. I'm with the belief (as is Geek Remix) that Alex sacrificed herself into the time rift a long time ago. Well, well before we played the game. Notably, the track that plays is called "Lost (Prologue.") Emphasis mine. All your playthroughs, and other peoples' playthroughs, are Alex trapped. Like Anna and the crew of the Kanaloa.
Her name in the subtitles is also the same green as the ghosts' in the epilogue.

Damn, I don't think I ever really figured that it was their first time meeting. I thought that they had met earlier but kept their distance, and this was their first real bonding moment. At the very least, if they hadn't met before Edwards island, they definitely knew of each other and those feelings were probably still there. (But this could just be me wanting to insert more angst into the narrative lmao)
What did everyone think of Clarissa, and her motive for hating Alex?

Hey, I've moved to a new account! I go by Silver Glyph now.I didn't like her and her reasoning for hating Alex made me like her even less.
TBH, I didn't really believe her reason for hating Alex (Because who the fuck does that?) and I felt it got resolved pretty easily by the end. My best excuse is that those were feelings that just got twisted by the ghosts, but that's kind of weak.
I thought that her hatred of Alex based on what little we knew in the beginning made little sense. Michael died, Clarissa was his girlfriend a long time ago, and Alex was the annoying little sister...? That's no reason to hate someone so much. Her actual reason for hating Alex made the intesity of her dislike make a lot more sense to me, and while I found the reason to be predictable, it seemed like a legitimate enough reason to me. But I do agree that it was resolved clumsily.
Hey, I've moved to a new account! I go by Silver Glyph now.If Alex really did trap herself eternally, I wonder what happened to Clarissa. Considering she was there too serving as their host.

Mari made a thing:
I haven't played it but I've seen a couple let's plays and I really liked it. Great soundtrack & voice acting. Reminded me of Life is Strange and Until Dawn.
PS4 port coming May 31. It also features a New Game plus mode that will be added to the other platforms for free the same day. The New Game Plus mode features new endings and locations.
Hopefully one of those new endings is one that doesn't involve getting trapped in a never-ending "Groundhog Day" Loop.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Interesting ending for the update.
Alas, Alex does not escape Edward's Island. The best I accomplished, which I assume is the best anyone can do, is stopping another version of Alex from going to Edward's Island at all.
That sucks that the only way to get off the island is to sacrifice someone. She's a bitch, yeah, but still.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Wait that works now?
Wait, did it not before? I haven't played the game and thought it worked.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
A side-scrolling supernatural thriller combined with coming of age story. It's about a magic radio and a creepy cave. And it's coming to PC and Xbox One in January.
