A story of a sacred order of hunters who are tasked to defend humanity from the scourge of mad cultists who would seek to kill all of humanity with a plague to fulfill the desires of there mad god and to make them the rulers of the world.

Did i mention that both groups are actual sentient rats? because they are, and the hunters are all devote Muslims? "And yes I know that rats are one of the animals considered 'evil' in the Quran and can be killed freely. In this world it was the evil plague cult rats who caused this reputation and the good rats decided devote them selves to ending there blight to clear the name of there species once and for all. They hold the Bubonic plague as there greatest failing.

One of the weirder ideas I've hamfisted Heron Argyros into (he's been a character long before I had a plot for him, I've thrown him into a lot of stories) was supposed to be this sci-fi allegory for the Australian refugee crisis. He was supposed to be this human journalist following this alien refugee from his home planet to Earth. It was supposed to be an extremely political story, but I just couldn't be bothered with all the research. It's still a good idea though.

I might write it into a short story, after I've finished with my current one, Letter for Laura.

A sentient cloud becomes a tornado one day because it was in a bad mood, forcing the superhero Skunkman to stop it in order to save his family.

I may have been seven years old when I came up with this idea.

it's about a teenage girl named matty who wishes to find the perfect boy but none of the boys interest her so she does some sort of pagan ritual which grants her wish by making the sky rain pretty boys down upon her home town. now she's surrounded by a bunch of hot bishes that want to get in her pants.

A girl, Jane, is transported to a world of sentient animals. An exerpt:

<Jane rung the bell on the counter and waited for the teller to arrive. She waited several seconds and rang it again. "I'm comin' I'm a comin'!" She heard a voice from the room on the other side of the counter. Suddenly a python rose up from behind the counter. "Gah! Your... A snake." Jane said in surprise. "Dang right I am! Now what can I do for ya ma'am?" Jane shook off the initial shock of this talking snake. "Yess, I would like to make a sssmall withdrawl." The snake just looked at her with what could only be called a condescending stare. "Now listen here little missy, are we gonna do business or are we just gonna stereotype each other?" The snake told her. Jane was taken aback. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I just want to take twenty five out of my account." Trying her best to sound apologetic. "Of course ma'am, do you want that in cash or bananas?" The snake told her. Jane gave an annoyed huff. "That wasn't very funny." She said.>

The story would have featured a pig mob boss named Hambone as the antagonist.

I came up with this long before Zootopia in case you were wondering. And the animals aren't as anthro'd as the animals in that film.

I'm really astounded by the sheer number of weird ideas I had for my first attempt at writing. Keep in mind, a ten year old came up with these ideas;

  • Bullies who turn out to be working for Ancient Evil Squid God.
  • Ancient Evil Squid God who empowers The Hero to oppose him because...because.
  • AESG does absolute zilch when The Hero gets even more powerful after purging himself of the power aforementioned.
  • I think I was on a Phyrexian shout out thing, because for some reason AESG's minions are either terminators, thinly veiled predators, or weird machine men who become vastly more numerous half way through for no particular reason.
  • Gathering a coalition of characters from over the phone RP's with my old best friend and leading them to battle, The Hero meets a group of characters who are never mentioned again.
  • AESG breaks the rules of his own resurrection and comes out all on his own. He then turns blond chief bully into The Dragon.
  • Final battle with blond chief dragon. Random note about his One-Winged Angel having daggers for teeth. Disappointingly short battle. Hero randomly eulogizes the guy who did nothing but antagonize him.
    • Note that said bully apparently gets cloned half a million times far later, in a series of events somehow even more batshit than this.
  • AESG brags as the hero's...airship...flies overhead he is invincible and immortal...only for the energy of the fucking blue moon to somehow channel through the airship and kill AESG. BLUE MOON ENERGY. What was I on?
  • Random note at the end that "remnants are starting to move". And this was never followed up on by the sequel story I made when I was 11.

Monosexual erasure in a world where Everyone Is Bi. Oh, you date only males? You just have yet to find your taste in females! Vice versa applies too.

A country/state/island/place where only the males are human, all the females are sexy gynoids, and misogynism runs even more rampant than many RL societies - completely expected when the place was established with the explicit purpose of allowing men to 'let go' and show all their misogynism without any of the guilt or repercussions of abusing a human.

There's a similar counterpart where all the males are sexy androids, and the female humans take full advantage of this.

Okay, so, this is a novel length story inside a planned series. It is not the craziest, that probably goes to the story with all the time travel in it.

An explorer and group leave the bounds of known reality in search of other realities in a ship. Instead of more reality, they experience an endless void of nothingness. Undeterred, they sail for hundreds of years until they find a new reality. One that is about to be consumed by a giant space whale. What happens if the reality is consumed? Is it destroyed or does it cease to have ever existed in the first place? Or none of the above? A massive group of interdimensional heroes is convened to discuss, then kill the giant space whale before it can consume any more realities. The discussion takes years.

It's basically a sex comedy that centers around an average guy and a perverted anthropomorphic plush cat thing(which happens to be a girl). Together they deal with crazy and Jack squat insane situations as well as the cat plush usual sexual conquest.

Back in high school, a friend and I frequently brainstormed scenarios for characters from each of our respective story-verses.

One particular story took place in modern-day upstate New York that centered around two of our characters. Her character was I believe a teenage boy who was killed in a drive-by shooting shortly after he graduated from (a normal) high school. My character was a man in his seventies, an old teacher of his from high school who he was very close to and who had retired by the start of the story. The premise of the story was that her character was a necromancer, and his skills were such that he was able to bring himself and his beloved, long-passed pet rabbit back from the dead.

Since zombies are not a common occurrence in Like Reality, Unless Noted upstate New York, he needed a place to hide, so he decided to move in with his elderly former teacher. The plot was going to be kind of like a Black Comedy episodic sitcom. Plots would involve things like the zombie removing his head as a 'surprise' for his housemate, the rabbit losing its head and them having to rush around and find where it fell off so they can put it back on before the local kid comes over to visit, and various occasions of the zombie practicing his necromancer magic in the backyard. Typical sitcom stuff.

[up][up] I'd watch that!

I had an idea for a short about a person who survives the end of the world in a bunker stuck in a "Groundhog Day" Loop. Essentially, they're always reliving the first day after humanity's been wiped out and must cope with being the last person alive for all eternity.

Is not impressed.

[up]You should write that.

I had a weird idea of a cop in a steampunk-esque society investigating a man who steals people's pasts. Like a soulforger from The Emperor's Soul, except instead of rewriting people's pasts directly he swaps part of their life history with his own in a deal, yet always leaves some holes, stealing the best parts of the victim's past for himself while letting them keep the ones he is bored with and the emptyness.

Then in the end, the cop finds out she has multiple times made the deal with him and always came back with a different life she needed to forget... and I don't know what happens after The Reveal.

Probably my weirdest idea is a situation with all the cliche trappings of a Shoujo manga, such as a girl admiring the boy she likes from afar, with the reveal/twist being that are kindergartners.

Essentially a Shoujo Rugrats. So said girl watching from afar would have her crushing interrupted by naptime.

Honestly I would say all my Stories inevitably end up some kind of weird, with them all being treated as... Grand, for lack of a better word. So admittedly, a Story about a Heroine lying to her Humanoid Abomination Semi-Clone that she's her mom so she wouldn't have to murder her... Doesn't stand out as odd to me, since I treat all my Stories as opportunities to explore what Life & Existence are instead of merely "This is nifty!"

Still, one of my odder Stories would probably be Sensual Space, where each "Episode" has a villain vaguely inspired by sexuality- So you got a living The Nudifer for the Starter Villain, a Mage focusing on The Power of Creation who completely misunderstood what MILF meant (Mutant Irregular Liger Fighters!), and a villaness made out of cloth who uses binding attacks- Yet overall, it isn't really sexual (well, other than the Knight of Cerebus villain of Episode 6).

The Protagonists are, respectively, a human(?) woman dragged into the madness of the Secret Magical World and the humanoid Space Elemental gleefully acting like her Magical Boyfriend for the lulz. Though while it starts out pretty Played For Laughs, with the events of Episode 6 the Story gradually focuses on the Space Elemental's, well, mysteriousness... Eventually revealing he's actually terrified he's trapped in an illusion, as he's a defective member of a Human Alien species subjected to Fantastic Racism all his childhood.

Honestly I would love to make this a Web Comic, but I got no artistic skill...

Speaking of Mecha, the following is hands down one of my grandest Stories-

Destiny Drive Third is a Sci-Fi Story just brimming with everything typical to science fiction, such as having an Alternate History, Virtual Reality, Psychics, Artificial Life, aliens, and Humongous Mecha of course- Yet instead of blindly Playing it all Straight, everything is pretty toyed around with- The most obvious being the madness caused by the Skyblazers' mere existence, the Psychics suffering from mental and physical disorders because of their mutations, the ubiquity of Mecha Averting Instant Awesome: Just Add Mecha!, and a lot of people treating the various Artificials as non-entities.

However that's only the tip of the iceberg, with the monsters plaguing Humanity (The Eldritchians) being hyper focused on the Skyblazers because the Skyblazers are actually the descendants of the previous Cycle's humanity, their ancestors surviving the necessary plague- Thus, in that unstable period of time, the Skyblazers were made because of reality's instability.

Thus, the Skyblazers are the true abominations, their very existence hastening reality's destruction- Which is only happening because Magic is not allowed there, yet all Souls are treated as such by it- Meaning God has to regularly purge the majority of his creations to save Reality, which he was merely "born" in and not the creator of.

Yet since God doesn't want to kill his creations nor condemn them to the Eternal Illusion that is the Afterlife, he's always suffering from what to do- Thus from even the First Cycle itself, the Eldritchians willingly became his Harbingers of Death and Rebirth because they loved being friends with everyone- Which unfortunately means they too have been suffering, because they utterly hate what their role has made them look- Nobody ever believes them when telling the other Races they really have to die to save the universe, meaning they're inevitably forced to go to war against a Race they once called Friend which doesn't even remember them.

Thus the Eldritchians frequently lose many of their people each Cycle, and God feels even crappier being so unwilling to do what's necessary that he has however condemned his Angels as Demons to the other Races- Thus God Himself frequently thinks he should just die, and with the Multiple Endings that's exactly what happens in the Worst Ending- With Humanity, the Skyblazers and the Altens attacking him directly, he tries to be a Zero-Effort Boss yet the Eldritchians desperately try to save him.

Speaking of the Altens, they've been the singular greatest threat to Reality for countless Cycles- Because their Hat is their Intelligence, and having exhausted all reasonable sources of knowledge the Altens are going mad having nothing new to learn. Thus, wanting to slaughter the Eldritchians & perserve the Skyblazers so Reality breaks, allowing them to traverse new Universes- Damning the consequences in the process, their Lust for knowledge overriding all else.

Thus, because the Altens want Reality destroyed, they actually performed a Hit and Run on God so they could use slivers of the Destiny Drive to make their own reality warping engines- Unwittingly, multiple times, the Altens getting purged too fast to store that knowledge. Yet, as the secondary Big Bad, the Altens are responsible for every other species' rapid technological growth with them even making detecting technology for Psychics so they'll recognize their Abilities and unwittingly hasten the destruction of reality.

And, of course, that isn't everything either- With the Characters Themselves and the events they get up to shaping the Story even further. Honestly, though, with this level of complexity and content an RPG is the only way to go- That, or a Web Comic which is a Shared Universe onto itself.

I once had an idea for a band of cowboy-themed terrorists that call themselves the "Brotherhood of the West." Their goal is that they deeply resent the empires and settlements of the high elves and the grey aliens in post-Cataclysm western North America, saying that land belongs to the United States and only to the United States.

A story where we have an outsider character join with a group of role players in some D&D game just different enough to be legally distinct and watch her slowly slip into being a role player like the rest.

the twist is this: sections done out side of the game are in first person, while those in the game are third person with the third person narration explicitly being the Dungeon master thus giving us a Lemony Narrator and medium awareness at the same time in a logical way. hell i may even do this one.
