Well, various shades of hell and investigation. People not involved in the Saturday night excusrion probably have some idea.

So now this is an opening scene.

Alright, a quick recap into what has been happening since the start.

- CCT attacked by robots a few days after Carol Kriegsvart's baby shower, Beacon students repulse

- Ad-hoc group led by Scarlet investigates, leave with evidence, site where group investigates is now site of heavy police presence.

- In between, school and day-to-day stuff. The Vale PD, in conjunction with Internal Security elements and with military oversight(!) have begun cleaning operations against juvenile delinquents.

EDIT: It is common knowledge that the task force went out. It was also on the news that shit blew up, though it has not been tied to Beacon. People who were not involved in the night fights have only second-hand knowledge.

It is morning on Monday, Umbra 14, and is shaping up to be a normal day as far as everyone knows. Amethyst shouldn't be worried about anything other than an exam at the moment.

So, since I now hate Vestia's stupid axe thing, I'm retconning her weapon/fighting style.

She now solely uses dust infused cloth - both her two gloves, and her long coat, which are all infused with dust.

she's a dust user now, who also punches things.

there, now i'm happy.

EDIT: Better idea. Instead of gloves, she has super long, bandage-esque hand wrappings that are infused with dust, which she can either use to punch (duh) or lash out like a whip.
