DC Super Hero Girls

honestly I don't mind her having a normal skin since that was what I was mostly use to.

Just now saw the news that Faust will be in charge of the new Super hero girls series, and I could not be happier.

I saw some episodes recently and they were all done in LEGOs. I liked The LEGO Movie and The LEGO Batman movie but for some reason I don't like the version done here.

Yeah, that's been going on for a while with a bunch of merchandise lines. This isn't even close to anything like the Lego Batman Direct-to-DVD movies. I say if you're bored, watch it. Other than that, it's not worth it.

I wonder if the tv series will have a new art style. I thought it wouldn't, but hearing that it's a Soft Reboot makes me curious. The current style works for webisodes (just look at EAH) but I'm less certain about full fledged cartoons.

I hope it's as dangerously close to Super Best Friends Forever as it's allowed to be.

yeah no. if that was the case the main trio would have the most focus with characters like bumblebee being put in the limelight.

Does Katana even do anything in this series? I heard she's present in the books but in the cartoon she barely appears. I wouldn't be upset if the series replaced her.

Ew, no. I like the idea of almost everyone being heroes. I mean, I like the idea of a "super villain high" rival school or something, but I'd rather keep that in fanfics.

Well, someone has to be a villain or there would be no crime to fight against.

Given that it's being helmed by Lauren Faust, it might get a change in artstyle, yes.

although I don't really like Lauren faust that much but she has spawned my childhood so I can give ya that. So, I'm super excited for it.

Some villain characters should stay villains & besides ya can't go wrong with a good redemption story. Harley loses a lot of nuance if you take the Joker outta the equation.

I don't quite get the point of teaser trailers for shorts but the channel keeps on doing them.

Ace and Krypto are characters. This is fantastic. Ace needs more love in general.

SBFF!Batgirl may have been cute, but she just doesn't work otherwise. Barbara is supposed to be a genius.

Speaking of this show one thing I noticed that was kinda funny was that the hero of the month segment for Poison Ivy was her mostly cleaning up her own messes.

She's reformed villain. Maybe that's enough for her.

The franchise is now getting a TV show, done by Lauren Faust.
