Luke Cage and Iron Fist already fought Daleks back in the early '80s. No, that is not a joke.
The Anachronauts, a bunch of Kang's followers, also fought them.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Yes, but those were Captain Ersatz versions of the Daleks, called the Dredlox. I'm talking about a proper Dalek invasion with actual Daleks. As in a huge Dalek invasion force spreading out across the galaxy.
Well, seeing as Marvel doesn't have the publishing rights to Dr. Who any more, it's not like we'll actually see the Daleks show up.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.I know, but hypothetically, y'know. I'm asking what it would be like if it were possible.
It would be a bunch of superheroes fighting a bunch of robots. They'd fight, the robots would have an advantage - in sheer numbers, if nothing else - and the superheroes would find a way to stop them. It's not like the robots being Daleks would be any different from them being Ultrons or Doombots or generic robots. The only difference would be the fact that Dr. Who fans would get a thrill.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics."Davros! We would have words with thee."
I'm pretty sure Thor and the Hulk could tank Dalek beams.
I bet they could both tank multiple Dalek beams.
Spidey is likely too fast. Cap could block it with his shield.
Iron Man might also give them a good fight depending on what armour he's using.
Etc, etc.
One Strip! One Strip!Except they're not robots, Tiamatty. And I think you're taking this a bit too seriously...

Robots, cyborgs, ultimately doesn't mean much difference.
Oh God! Natural light! They're cyborgs in much the same way that tank drivers are.
It's just yet another monthly crossover event that will be forgotten in-universe and meta-wise one year later.
People, I'm trying to develop an idea here! I don't want to know whether or not it would work, but how it would work if it did.
In hindsight, I should probably have put this conversation on the Fanfic forum instead.
Interesting idea but kinda easily fucked over by Kitty Pryde and Vision.
Lafayette StrongHonestly, vs the MU, the Daleks wouldn't stand a chance. Hyperion alone could probably demolish all of them in his sleep.
Really, the Daleks are only a major threat if they're going up against single non-superpowered entities like the Doctor. But against actual Superteams like the Avengers or the X-Men, they'd be toast.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundEhhh... the Daleks are actually pretty good at technobabbling solutions to things like phasing opponents.
If it was going to be an 'event' sort of thing, then something like the New Who 'Stolen Earth' episodes would likely be a good jumping off point- not just a Dalek invasion, but a major problem that kind of has to be resolved by something more than just beating up or blowing up Daleks.
Given that this would be a crossover, you'd need to have the Doctor turning up as well, or possibly more than one, which would be kind of fun (my personal vote, at least at the moment, would lean towards the Third, Ninth, and Twelfth Doctors turning up- that is, John Pertwee, Chris Eccleston, and Peter Capaldi. The snark would be flying thick and fast, and the Ninth Doctor would probably try to kick someone he shouldn't very, very hard, which could be potentially amusing). Although the Illuminati would be all kinds of ****ed, since pretty much any version of the Doctor would disapprove very heartily of the crap that they were pulling, and when the Doctor disapproves, possibly-sentient things that can conveniently be labelled 'probably not people' die.
Anyhow, assuming that the various Illuminati manage to avoid being labelled 'probably not people', there would have to be at least one scene where Tony Stark, Reed Richards, Amadeus Cho, Bruce Banner, Doctor Strange, Hank Pym, and any of the other 'supergenius' types, along with the Doctor(s) are all standing around engaging in 'cleverer than thou'.
And possibly one or more of the more sensible characters that hang around with the above distilling a workable plan from their attempts to out-clever one another
Given the Doctor's usual habits, MI-13 would be a more likely liaison for the Doctor if he were to be on Earth for longer than about one episode's worth of events, since he hasn't shown any real willingness to hang about in New York any longer than he has to. Since the Daleks would happily mangle the timestream at the drop of a hat, the Time Variance Authority, Immortus, Kang, Cable, Bishop, Rachel Summers, T.I.M.E., and any other time travellers that run around in the Marvel U would probably get involved (and probably get in one another's way constantly, just for added fun )
In all likelihood, the big monkeywrenches for the Daleks would be the magic-users of the Marvel U. Doctor Strange, Doctor Druid, Brother Voodoo, Agatha Harkness, the Scarlet Witch, Amanda Sefton, etc. would all be able to dismiss the Daleks with a wave of their hand, most likely, since magic simply doesn't (really) exist in the Whoniverse.
"Since the Daleks would happily mangle the timestream at the drop of a hat, the Time Variance Authority, Immortus, Kang, Cable, Bishop, Rachel Summers, T.I.M.E., and any other time travellers that run around in the Marvel U would probably get involved (and probably get in one another's way constantly, just for added fun )"
I love the sound of that. And the Doctor calling out the Illuminati as well.
Hey, another idea: What if the Daleks found out about the Infinity Gems, and set out to find and use them. I know the Infinity Gems were destroyed, but it would depend on when the story is set. It could be before Time Runs Out, or maybe the post-Secret Wars story features new ones.
Ooh...utterly meta moment: Pepper Potts meets the Daleks....
Dude, the Daleks would be completely destroyed. You guys are just naming heroes. That's not even getting into the freaking villains like Galactus. You can't even entertain the idea of them being a threat.
...why would Galactus want to protect the Earth, though? I mean, I could see it if the Daleks were threatening the universe, but just the Earth? Galactus wouldn't give a shit.
He does raise an interesting point about villains, though. But the real villain to look at is Doom. The Daleks, on their own, really wouldn't be a threat. But the Daleks under Doom's control? They might be a threat.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. The Doom thing sounds interesting. What about Venom Daleks? Or Carnage Daleks? Or Infinity Daleks?

I don't think symbiotes can merge with robots. So we couldn't get symbiote Daleks.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.
I was looking at all the universes in the Marvel multiverse recently, and discovered that the Whoniverse is designated Earth-5556, making it part of the multiverse. So I thought, what if there was some way for elements of the Whoniverse to enter the Marvel universe. I had an idea that the Daleks would somehow be able to enter the Marvel universe and launch an attack. Still not sure how they'd do this, but I like the idea that some sort of multiversal disturbance had caused universe-hopping technology from the Marvel universe to fall through to Earth-5556, where it was found by the Daleks.
So, how would it work? Would the attack be confined to Earth, or would the Daleks spread throughout the Galaxy, encountering Skrulls and Kree and the like? You could have Iron Man building an anti-Dalek suit, Magneto suspending a whole army of Daleks in the air, the Daleks invading Asgard, Black Bolt fighting legions of Daleks simply by talking to them, or even Hydra using salvaged Dalek technology for their own evil ends. And Deadpool too, imagine Deadpool going up against the Daleks!
But who would write it? And who would draw it? Ideally, I would like it to fit nicely within the continuity, but in such a way that allows readers to ignore it if they don't like it.
So what do you think? Good idea or not? What would you have happen? What would you do to flesh out the story? How would you make it work?
